How to Use This Product
This resource contains both a digital product and a printable page.

In order to use the digital Google Slides product, you will need:
• Access to the internet
• A Google account
• The product link from page 4
You receive 2 digital Google Slides files – Counting on a Rainbow
Digital Activity file plus an answer key. Click on the product links
on page 4 to access the files.

Students need to interact with the slides in Edit mode.

This digital resource helps your students practice counting to 10, number
recognition, and reading color words.
For each slide, students look at the instructions and read how many
pieces of cereal to put on each color of the rainbow and then drag
and drop the correct amount to each color on the rainbow. They can
use as many of each color as needed (the cereal pieces are in stacks,
so students can keep dragging from each pile as needed).

Counting On a Rainbow Printable Page
Materials Needed:
Fruit Loops Cereal
Glue
Copy of Page 7 for each student
Optional: crayons, gold glitter
Print page 7 for each student.
Give each student a copy of page 7 and some Fruit Loops in each color
(or have a group of students share).

Students create a rainbow by gluing Fruit Loops of the correct color

(red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple) in each section.

When their rainbow is completed, they count how many cereal pieces
they used of each color and record their responses. You can ask
questions such as what color did they use the most, the least, compare
2 colors (How many more red pieces than blue pieces did you use?), etc.

Optional: Students can color the pot and the gold or put gold glitter on
the gold pieces.
