MECHANICS FOR THE QUALIFYING EXAMINATION FOR

NON-UNIFORMED PERSONNEL (NUP)

Important Reminders for Online Examination:

a. Applicants shall take the examination online through Google Form and will be
facilitated by the NUP Evaluation and Selection Board Secretariat;

b. Applicants are required to submit [via email] a picture of the Valid ID that they will
present during the exam for verification.

c. Webcam must be turned ON and is placed in a proper position, showing your face
and the real background;

d. Virtual background shall not be allowed

e. Turn ON the speaker during the exam to receive announcements/instructions from the
proctor during the exam;

f. Turn ON the microphone, it may be muted and unmuted by the proctor during the
exam;

g. The name on Zoom must bear the official name in this format:
Last Name, First Name, Middle Initial
e.g. DELA CRUZ, JUAN L.

h. Points will be deducted for not following these rules;

i. No communication with anyone by any means during the exam;

j. Applicants may not leave the Zoom Meeting until the proctor asks you to do so;

k. It will be a one-day examination. No rescheduling. No time extension will be granted;

l. Applicant/s who failed to take the examination and is not able to appear virtually on
the scheduled date shall be automatically eliminated;

m. Examinees may ask questions before the exam but not during the examination;

n. Questionnaire Link (Google Form Link) will be sent to the Zoom Chat Box after the
Checking of Attendance and Orientation;

o. Applicants who will be caught cheating in any form shall be automatically disqualified;

p. The examination is qualified as CONFIDENTIAL.
