With this activity, you are expected to achieve the following learning
outcomes:

You will be able to talk about environmental issues by describing situations by


expressing your points of view about the related topic.

To develop this activity, you must follow these stages:

Step 1: Checking the eBook


Content

Check and develop all content related to eBook B1 level, Modules 9, 10, 11 and 12 as
a prior revision. Then, post your practice on the forum.

Step 2: Focus on vocabulary

According to the Environmental issues lexicon and vocabulary in use, match the
terms with their corresponding meanings. For that, you can check what you
developed in Task 2: written production for remembering some terminology that
helps you to complete this activity. When you finish this step, remember to share it
on the forum.

Step 4: Spoken interaction

In this step, you must attend and participate in one of the five synchronous meeting
(STT= Students’ Talking Time) for interacting with your tutor and e-mates, where you

stages 1, 2 and 3, if not you can not have a good performance.

Step 5: Let’s talk about keeping the environment (final


product)

In this step, you must record a tutorial video giving the steps (final product) of how to
help the environment, you can choose one of these options for your video:

a. Ways to save water.


b. How to reuse things in your house.
c. How to save energy.
d. Step by step of doing a compost.
e. How to transport ecologically.

NOTE: If you have any other option to show in your video, you can present it.

IMPORTANT: To record your video, you must consider these aspects:

1. It is not allowed to read aloud on the video. It is a conscious speaking exercise.

2. The video must last from 1 to 2 minutes.

3. Introduce yourself (name, city, profession/ job, current studies or career).

4. Settle what is the tutorial about.

5. Describe the steps of your tutorial.

6. Conclude your tutorial showing the result of it.

7. You must show how to do it, your face must appear on the video, if not,
your video will not be taken for grading.

8. Upload your video on Youtube or Google Drive (set the link for viewing).

9. Add the link on a PDF or Word document and post it on the Evaluation
Environment.

In this step, you must check your performance during the time this task is
