Recognize and draw shapes having specified attributes, such as a given number of angles

measuring. Identify triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, hexagons, and cubes.
Objective: Students will be able to identify the qualities in shapes.
Description: The students will be given legos and a worksheet with different shapes and
questions about the faces and angles on the shapes. They will then be given 20 minutes to build
the different shapes out of their legos. Once everyone has built their shapes we will gather back
together as a class and discuss what was easy about the shapes and what was hard. They will also
discuss the different angles and faces that the shapes have.
Tools:
● Legos
● Worksheet
● Pencil
Assessment: The students will be assessed on what they know based off of the discussion in
class. The students will also turn in their worksheets.
