Section A: Ancient Rome

Question 1:
Identify a minimum of four modern countries which were once part of
the Roman Empire.
Question 2:
How do you think the people in Egypt, England, Armenia and other
countries felt being a part of the Roman Empire? (Hints – Were they
proud? Perhaps they enjoyed being protected by the mighty Roman
army? However, maybe they wanted to be independent of Roman rule
and have their freedom?)

Eg: I think people may not have liked being a part of the Roman Empire

Do you think the Roman Emperor in Rome cared about the feelings of
English, Egyptians and Armenians etc.? “I think the Roman Emperor

Was your home country ever a part of the Roman Empire? If yes, how
did this affect your country? If not, has your country ever been a part
of any empire?

Question 5 : Name any other Empire in history, other than the Roman
empire.
