Intended use
T he earphones with speaker are designed for sound
output via Bluetooth® from external mobile devices
such as smartphones, tablet PCs, notebooks, etc.
Additional connection sockets allow you to play mu-
sic from other playback devices without Bluetooth®
(e.g. CD players), USB sticks or SD memory cards.
The product is designed for private use and is not
suitable for commercial purposes.
The speaker also serves as a charging station for the
earphones.
Use the product under moderate climatic conditions
only.

Disconnecting a Bluetooth® connection
There can only be one device connected to the
speaker or earphones via Bluetooth® at any time. If
you would like to connect the speaker or earphones
to another device, you must first end the existing
connection by switching off the Bluetooth® function
on your mobile device. When you disconnect a device,
the speaker or earphones beep to confirm that the
connection has been interrupted.
Reset
Electromagnetic interference around the speaker or
earphones could lead to malfunctions. If the devices
do not connect via Bluetooth® or the earphones do
not connect to each other, perform a reset:
1. Remove yourself and the speaker/earphones from
the area with electromagnetic interference.
2. Switch the speaker or earphones off and back on
again (see chapter “Use”).
Functions
The speaker and earphones can play back music in all
standard file formats supported by your mobile de-
vice. Both the speaker and earphones also support
the transmission standard A2DP. This standard is sup-
ported by most common mobile devices and was spe-
cially developed for transmitting stereo audio signals
wirelessly via Bluetooth®.
It may be necessary to manually activate
the A2DP transmission mode on your mobile
device. To do this, refer to the instruction
manual for your mobile device.

Connecting an audio device

Using an audio cable (not included), you can connect
other audio devices with a headphone connection,
e.g. an MP3 player or a portable CD player, via the
AUX connection socket on the side of the speaker.
1. Switch off the speaker and the audio device you
want to connect beforehand.
2. U se an audio cable to connect the AUX connection
socket of the speaker to the headphone socket of
the audio device (this is usually marked with a
headphone symbol or PHONE).
3. Switch on the speaker and the audio device.
4. Start playback on the audio device.

controlled via the speaker. You can only
adjust the volume on the speaker.

Problems / solutions
No sound
• Is the volume set too low?
• Has the Bluetooth® connection been lost?
Check the connection on your mobile device.
If necessary connect the speaker or earphones
to the mobile device again (see chapter “Use”).
• Is the rechargeable battery flat or low?
Charge the speaker or place the earphones in
the charging slots (see chapter “Charging the
batteries”).
Background noises
• The earphones or speaker and the paired
mobile device are too far apart.
Rejecting call function is not working
• This function depends on the smartphone you
are using and its settings. Refer to the instruc-
tion manual for your smartphone.
No Bluetooth® connection
• Is Bluetooth® deactivated on the mobile
device?
Check the settings on your smartphone.
­Activate Bluetooth® if necessary. Check wheth-
er the speaker or earphones appear in the list
of detected devices. If not, connect the speaker
or earphones again as described in chapter
“Use”. Place the devices close together. ­Remove
any other radio communication devices from
the surrounding area.

No sound comes out of one of the earphones
If the earphones do not work synchronously, that is,
if you can hear music or other sound coming out of
only one earphone, perform a manual pairing:
