NIRBHED FOUNDATION
Nirbhed Foundation was founded in 2015 as an all-Indian non-governmental
organization to promote "Equality for All" without discrimination. It serves economically
underprivileged children, school dropouts, and those who have never attended school.
Through day, evening, and night programs, the foundation communicates with these
youngsters, incorporates them in extracurricular activities, teaches values and ethics,
and cares for their health.Through health camps, skill development, and awareness
campaigns, Team Nirbhed delivers essentials such as education, clothing, food, and
medical treatment to disadvantaged individuals in slums and rural areas.
MAJOR ENDEAVORS OF THE ORGANISATION

The aim of the organisation is providing equality to all . For this, the
organisation has taken steps to provide education, food and basic
amenities to children who are economically unprivileged. The students
of the organisation has health camps, skill development, and
awareness campaigns, And daily classes of all students ,Team Nirbhed
delivers essentials such as education, clothing, food, and medical
treatment to disadvantaged individuals in slums and rural areas.
MY ROLE IN THE ORGANISATION
I was a teacher in the foundation . I taught Class 6 Science in Hindi
medium . There were two days I was assigned a different class
which was Class 7 Science and Class 3 English and Mathematics. I
taught the students of class 7 chemistry ( Atoms). I taught class 3
Opposite words and Verbs in English and Tables of 11, 12, 13, 14
And 15 in Mathematics. In class 6 i taught Chapter 4 Change ,
Chapter 5 Fabrics , Chapter 6 Biology And Daily Life, Chapter 7
Environment Of Different Organisms And Chapter 8 Basic Life
Functions.
KEY LEARNINGS
Adaptation to Student Needs: I learned to adapt my teaching methods
based on the changing needs of the students, ensuring a more
personalized learning experience.

Patience and Effective Strategies: I developed patience and


discovered more effective strategies to manage the students' discipline
issues, avoiding resorting to yelling.

Empathy and Compassion: I developed a deeper sense of empathy


and compassion, enhancing my ability to connect with students on a
more emotional level.
Flexibility and Creativity: We became more flexible and
creative in our teaching approaches, ensuring that students
remained engaged and interested in their lessons.

Customized Teaching Techniques: The team learned how to


create customized teaching techniques tailored to individual
student needs and abilities, promoting a more inclusive
learning environment.

Recognition of Individual Differences: The initiative also


helped me to recognize the different pace of learning
students, and taught me ensuring they receive appropriate
support and accommodations.
SKILLS ENHANCED
Patience- I developed patience during the process
Understanding of individual differences- I understood every student is different
and their pace of learning is different.
Creativity and new teaching methods- I used board and animated videos
during teaching which helped me gaining more attention from the students.

Planning- my planning skills improved as i have to plan every session.


CONCLUSION
This journey of teaching was very new for me as it was my first experience as a
teacher. I felt the responsibility as a teacher. My journey through this initiative has
not only benefited the students but has also been a profound learning experience
for me as an educator. It has reaffirmed the value of a student-centered approach
and the impact of empathy and creative teaching methods. As I move forward, I am
excited to continue applying these lessons and principles to create an even more
engaging and inclusive learning environment for the students.
