Challenge of Acceptance (Speech)

Hello awesome teachers, to our very hardworking PSDS ANITA I. San Ramon, PH.D. and to all the
speakers. A wonderful day to all of you. I am presenting myself on behalf of Sipocot South District
teachers to accept the challenge given to us for this One-Day Gender Mainstreaming Evaluation
Framework Workshop of School GAD Focal Persons, which we successfully achieved despite the fears
and confusion in our hearts during the Workshop. Ban Ki-Moon Quoted that “Achieving Gender Equality
requires the Engagement of Women and Men, Boys and Girls. It is everyone’s responsibility”. As we went
through each day, we got to appreciate the learnings we gained from the lecturers whose expertise has
definitely paved the way to the realization that every challenge- every difficulty- contains within it the
seeds of opportunity and growth.
And just as what our District Supervisors has set before us,
… the challenge to adapt and embrace the constant changes that comes along our way
… the challenge to come out of our comfort zones to help our learners more
… the challenge to do more than what we think we can
With that I am proud and humbled to accept these challenges on behalf of the Sipocot South District GAD
Focal Persons. Together we will build a strong network of educational opportunities to serve our client.
On that note let us all grab a cup of coffee
And whatever it is that the Department of Education has required us to do, we will get the work done
regardless. It is because we don’t grow when things are easy. We grow when we face challenges.
So again, “Kakayahan ng kababaihan, Patutunayan!”
Ending Statement: “Babae, Naiiba ka!” CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!
