Question
Is the negation of a true conditional a true statement? What about
the negation of a false conditional? What conclusion can you make
out of the negation of a true statement? What conclusion can you
make out of the negation of a false statement?

Answer
The negation of a true conditional is not a true statement, while
the negation of a false conditional is a true statement. The
negation of a true statement leads to the conclusion that the
original statement is false, while the negation of a false statement
leads to the conclusion that the original statement is true.

Question
Go over the answers to the examples and the exercises in
determining whether a given conditional and its converse, inverse,
and contrapositive are true or false. is there any pattern in the
truth value of any two if the statements? For example, if
conditional is true, is the converse also true?
Answer
There is a pattern in the truth value of a conditional and its
converse. If a conditional statement is true, the converse may or
may not be true.

Question
Is it possible to give a counterexample for a definition? Why or
why not? Is it possible ti give a counterexample for a property?
Why or why not?
Answer
It is possible to give a counterexample for a definition, as it can
show that the definition does not hold true in all cases. However,
it is not possible to give a counterexample for a property, as a
property is a characteristic that holds true for all instances.
