Understanding How NGOs Get Money

Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) are powerful groups that make a big difference in
the world. But have you ever wondered how these organisations get the money they need?
Let's explore the interesting world of NGO funding.
NGOs are like real heroes, working hard to address important global issues like poverty,
healthcare, education, and environmental conservation. They make a big impact in many ways,
but how do they get the resources they need?
NGOs use a variety of funding sources to make sure their important work continues. People,
foundations, and companies give money to support them. They also organise events and
campaigns to raise funds. NGOs often work with businesses that have similar goals, getting
financial support, donations, and expertise. Some NGOs have memberships where people pay
annual fees to support their work and have a say in what they do. Others make money by
offering services or selling products, which helps them keep going and supports their mission.
Sometimes, governments give money to NGOs for projects they care about. A few NGOs have
funds saved up that they invest to make more money, which they use to stay financially strong
and grow their mission's impact. NGOs working in developing countries might get help from
