After a delightful lunch break, we’ll arrive at the world-famous Black Sand Beach of Reynisfjara, a stunning
yet potentially dangerous location. Our experienced guides will provide instructions to ensure your safety

Before reaching our accommodation for the night, we’ll make a stop at Vík Village, where you can stock up for
the bus ride through the moon-like wastelands towards South-East Iceland, where your next day of adventure

If we are lucky with the weather and if the aurora is active, we will make the best use of the low light pollution
in this area to try to see them. Remember though – the Northern Lights are not “switched on” every day!

Day 2 | Vatnajökull National Park with Ice Caving

Prepare to be amazed by the grandeur of Vatnajokull National Park, the largest of its kind in Iceland! Named
after the mighty Vatnajokull glacier, the largest glacier cap in Europe, spanning approximately 8,000 square
kilometers (5,500 square miles) and reaching depths of nearly 1,000 meters at its lowest point.

At the glacier’s head, you’ll find the mesmerizing Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. Witness as colossal, multi-
colored icebergs break away from the glacier and slowly make their way to the sea, constantly changing in
shape and size as they sway back and forth. Some of these ice chunks are carried back to shore, adorning the
black sand beach known as Diamond Beach.

But this tour offers more than just admiration of the glacier and its unique landscapes – you’ll also have the
opportunity to venture beneath it! Each winter, frozen glacial rivers allow access to a captivating world of
ice caves, with new formations taking shape each year. Marvel at the fantastic shapes and colors within
these blue ice caves, guided by our knowledgeable local guides. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience, as each

cave is transient and may never exist again. Your safety is our priority, and you’ll be provided with all the
necessary equipment as you travel to the caves in a super jeep.

followed by another visit to Vík, before continuing on the road towards your overnight stay.

Get ready for a day filled with Iceland’s most iconic attractions! Following the renowned Golden Circle Route,
our first stop takes us to the colorful Kerið volcanic crater. Marvel at the magnificent mix of colors created by
the blue-water caldera lake – you can even walk down to the crater’s bottom for an up-close look.

Next on our agenda is the awe-inspiring Gullfoss, also known as The Golden Waterfall. Prepare to be amazed
as millions of glacial gallons plunge into a deep ravine, showcasing a powerful double-drop cascade that will
leave you in awe.

Our third stop brings us to the captivating Haukadalur Valley, a geothermal wonderland filled with bubbling
hot springs. Witness the majestic Strokkur Geyser, shooting hot water up to 30 meters into the air, and
discover the “father of all geysers,” the original Geysir, from which all others derive their name in many
languages.

Did you know that Iceland is believed to have established the world’s first parliament? At Þingvellir National
Park, you’ll encounter a tectonic rift that separates the Eurasian and American plates, which drift apart by 4
centimeters each year. Explore this remarkable site and discover the natural amphitheater that served as the
setting for sessions of Alþingi, the Icelandic parliament, for centuries.

Our final stop is a well-deserved relaxation session at Hvammsvik Hot Spring SPA. Located in the enchanting

Day 4 | The Silver Circle of West Iceland

Our first stop is Bifrost, a place steeped in Norse mythology and known for its connection to the mythical
border between the human and godly realms. Here, you’ll find the charming Glanni waterfall, its cascading
waters creating a serene and magical atmosphere that transports you to another world.

Continuing our adventure, we arrive at Deildartunguhver, a true natural wonder and Europe’s most powerful
hot springs. Witness the incredible force of nature as over 180 liters of boiling water per second gush forth,
creating a mesmerizing display of steam and energy.

Prepare to be awe-struck as we journey to Hraunfossar, a breathtaking series of waterfalls that flow

gracefully over the Hallmundarhraun lava field. The name Hraunfossar, meaning “Lava Waterfalls,” perfectly
captures the essence of this natural wonder. Marvel at the crystal-clear glacial meltwater as it cascades down,
creating a mesmerizing contrast against the dark lava rocks. As we continue our exploration, we come across
Barnafoss, also known as “the waterfall of the children.” This enchanting waterfall holds a tragic tale from the

Day 5 | The Magnificent Snaefellsnes National Park

Day 5 of your adventure begins with a picturesque drive towards the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, often referred to
as “Iceland in miniature.” This compact region offers a diverse range of geological wonders packed into a
small area, making it a truly unique destination.

Snæfellsnes Peninsula’s inclusion on the Lonely Planet TOP 10 Regions in the World 2015 list is well-
deserved. As you drive along the peninsula’s shores, you’ll pass by charming fishing villages and witness the
grandeur of Snaefellsjokull, Iceland’s largest strato-volcano. Take a stroll along the cliffs, where you may
even spot wild seals resting at Ytri-Tunga Beach.

Another highlight is Djúpalónssandur, a stunning black sand beach where the air is filled with the sounds of
circling birds and the crashing waves of the ocean.

Don’t miss the opportunity to capture a photo of the iconic Kirkjufell mountain, accompanied by a small yet
picturesque waterfall. Make sure to have your camera ready to add this shot to your collection of memories.

On your way back to Reykjavík, you’ll pass by the Whale Fjord (Hvalfjordur) and the tunnel that lies 165
