C DRIVE FULL ISSUE

Many Laptop users are facing C drive full issue recently, Follow below Two steps to make space in C
drive

STEP 1

 Go to services Stop & disable windows search service.

 Now go to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Search\Data\Applications\Windows & do shift delete

Windows.edb file

 Now restart
the PC once This will make space in C drive, now to to make sure this file (Windows.edb) will
not get recreated again in C Drive follow below steps.

 Go to Control panel Open Indexing Options & click on Advanced, this will prompt for admin
user id password, enter the same & Click on Select new, Now here Create one new folder in D
drive & rename it, select this folder & click OK.
  Now
Click on Modify and uncheck first 2 option as shown below & only keep Microsoft Outlook
checked & click ok.

 The above step

will start file indexing & search option will start working in Microsoft Outlook once indexing is
completed.
