For academic year 2021-22, a whopping 85% of the students
registered at CDS were placed amidst a raging pandemic while others
have gone ahead to join off-campus offers, pursue research
endeavors and several others have opted for Master’s degree
programs in India and abroad. Companies offered the highest salary
of 52 LPA and an average of 19 LPA. Around 230 job offers with an
average CTC of 18.5 LPA for B.Tech and 21.6 LPA for M.Tech were made
across various job sectors. Our students are also grabbing prestigious
internships and job offers with their determination and skill set that
meets the industry needs at par. With the economy changing rapidly,
CDS at IIT Jammu is constantly facilitating placement drives in the
online mode.
Our major recruiters included Microsoft, Amazon,
Qualcomm, Sprinklr, Indeed, NVIDIA, Intel, Inframarket, Mathworks,
Paytm, Toppr, Target, Publicis Sapient, L&T Infotech, Deloitte, ICICI
Bank etc.
