EDEN TRANSFORMING

- Transport Transformation
Sweden is very dependent on transportation. Solutions for proper transportation and for moving goods
and places of people too much burden on the environment are needed: new technologies, methods and
ways of doing business. Powering the roads, going from owning a car to buying transportation services,
and introducing automation

is an example of a new solution. Swedish close collaboration

between business, academia and the state provides a competitive advantage, leading to a combination
of top-notch academic research, new business models from the private sector, and adaptation to state
laws and government incentives. By identifying opportunities and welcoming change or transforming
transportation. Sweden is always responsive to change. Thanks to this, the ambition to become one of
the world's first fossil-free countries by 2045 has turned out to be fairly trivial. Sustainable mobility is
achievable as long as technological breakthrough, commercial expertise and political will align. And if
there's something Swedes are good at, it's collaborating. Swedes are also open to change and are willing
to try something new, from exotic foods to new ways to travel. There are currently 480 cars per 1,000
people in Sweden. But the close look at the future is very different. Plans are underway for a
subscription service that combines unlimited transportation with payment functionality, all tailored to
suit transportation needs.

park and running programs or activities that promote research innovation.

b) DRIVE SWEDEN - a new approach to mobility

closely with organizational boundaries. This is the goal of Drive Sweden, namely: a strategic innovation
program developed by the Swedish government.
