30 DOABLE WAYS TO HELP COLOR YOUR LIFE EVERYDAY

(Not necessarily in order)

1. Immediately pray when you wake up in the morning and ask for guidance. Think of the nice color you want
for a particular day. Example: red for love, white for serenity and blue for peace of mind.
2. Have an inspiration – be it a pet dog, a teddy bear to hug tightly, a touch of the one you love, a simple
flying kiss to your cat and a hot coffee good sip. Think of a color that represents coffee – maybe known, for
pet dog, its color, etc.
3. Listen to a melodious song like old songs of the 50’s and 60’s. Turn on your radio to DZMM and
Teleradyo at 501 (Cable) every 11:00 P.M. to 4:00 A.M. programs of DJ Richard and Jun Bañag. Songs of
Perry Como, Tony Bennett, Paul Anka, Frank Sinatra, etc. for Senior Citizens and 50-up. He-he-he!
4. Wake up late and try to have breakfast in bed. Eat not the usual egg style (make a different menu once in
a while.)
5. Walk around the village for exercise for 30 minutes only. Don’t tire yourself. Walk briskly but feel
relaxed. Inhale-exhale at slow pacing.
6. Write your diary or memoirs through Facebook or notebook. Converse openly to yourself. Release the
tension thru writing your feelings.
7. Look at your old album and reminisce the good old days. You may redo the album by putting nice edgings
you can buy at National Bookstore.
8. Make a scrapbook of any kind – or a collage, with pictorials you may write your own biography without
being strict in English usage and grammar.
9. Read books which are inspiring. Examples are books of Bo Sanchez, Zig Zigler, Harold Sala, Myke Celis,
Norman Vincent Peale.
10. Say “I love you with feelings” to your parents, BF/GF, husband and children for life is so short. Let them
feel good and yourself, too.
11. Do something crazy like eating ice cream in a cone while walking at the park enjoying the taste of it.
12. Be a friend to all ages/gender – your peer, teenager, child and older than you are. Be a child again. Be
sincere for love begets love.
13. Avoid going with people who are boring and always think negative thoughts. They will always brag
about themselves and make you feel useless. They will always criticize you.
14. Relax and see a movie, not horror but if possible, comedy and laugh out loud! Give a good, loud and
hearty laugh!
15. Dine out once in a while at seafoods resto at the beach. Try to visit the Solymar at Tigbauan. It’s just 30
minutes but the foods are excellent (to me, huh!). The ambiance is peaceful. Order chopsuey, boneless
bangus and fish sinigang.
16. Be a blessing to others – Examples: elderly and street children, extend help once in a while if not always.
17. Learn by attending short-term classes like cooking.
18. Have a date once a week at a great place with the one you love. Feel the heart beating faster.
19. Dance and sing the latest craze. Don’t be shy!
20. Travel. Take a trip to the forest, natural park, beautiful islands for vacation.
21. Have a hobby and make it an opportunity to do business for additional income. Examples: gardening,
culinary, etc.
22. Go to the massage spa or beauty essentials – for facial treatment or to the slimming gym even once a
month.
23. Wear a bikini (2 piece) once in a while at the beach/pool if you don’t have a nice vital statistics, wear it at
night time – or have a night swimming.
24. Try being naked when you go to bed because your body needs good blood circulation. But if there’s air-
con, you must have a blanket.
25. Try to cook a new dish for yourself and your family. Even if it doesn’t taste good, be proud of it and
improve the craft.
26. Write a love letter or love note to your friends, family, husband/wife. Use the stationery with colors and
flowers and with a scent.
27. Fill your house/room with nice decors and flowers, or redecorate with nice posters with inspiring words –
paintings, figurines, etc. to feel the good energy. Paint new color if you got money.
28. Invest a small amount for bright future – it gives you a good feeling of security in times of crisis and
emergency cases.
29. Change your lifestyle and habits every now and then. Before you don’t wear borloloy, you try now. But
don’t change your husband/wife.
30. Use your talents and skills to make you happy! Give love to others! Remember the 4L – live, love, learn
and leave a legacy.
