When did you start feeling this way? Patient: It started a few days ago. At first, it was just a little cough, but now it's getting worse. Doctor: Hmm, it sounds like you might have caught a cold or the flu. Have you been taking any medication? Patient: No, I haven't taken anything yet. I thought it might just go away on its own. Doctor: Well, it's always best to treat these things early before they get worse. I'll prescribe some medicine for you to help relieve your symptoms and speed up your recovery. Patient: Okay, thank you, Doctor. Is there anything else I should do? Doctor: Yes, make sure to get plenty of rest, drink lots of water, and try to avoid spreading your germs to others by covering your mouth when you cough or sneeze. Patient: Got it. I'll do my best to follow your advice. Thanks again, Doctor. Doctor: You're welcome.
