Antivirus: A utility program that runs and searches for viruses in the hard disk and removes
them if it finds any.
Bandwidth: The data transfer capacity of a network in bits per second (BPS). The term may also
be used colloquially to indicate a person’s capacity for tasks or deep thoughts at a point in time.
Collaborative Tools: Digital tools that allow learners to work together in online environments.

CPU: Central Processing Unit is one of the most important pieces of hardware in any digital
computing system – if not the most important. Inside a CPU there are thousands of microscopic
transistors, which are tiny switches that control the flow of electricity through the integrated
circuits. You’ll find the CPU located on a computer’s motherboard.

Megabyte: It is a data measurement unit applied to digital computer or media storage. One MB
equals one million (106 or 1,000,000) bytes. The International System of Units (SI) defines the
mega prefix as a 10 multiplier or one million (1,000,000) bits. The binary mega prefix is
1,048,576 bits or 1,024 Kb. The SI and binary differentials is approximately 4.68 percent.
RAM: Random Access Memory is a computer’s short-term memory, where the data that the
processor is currently using is stored. Your computer can access RAM memory much faster than
data on a hard disk, SSD, or other long-term storage device, which is why RAM capacity is
critical for system performance.
Scanner: It is an electronic device that uses light-sensing equipment to scan paper images such
as text, photos, and illustrations and translate the images into signals that the computer can then
store, modify, or distribute.
Search Engine: It is a website that enables a user to search for the information they require, such
as Google and Microsoft Bing.
Server: A server is aa computer program or device that provides a service to another computer
