HOW TO CONFIGURE ROUTER

NOTE: You have to set the router settings to default by pressing the reset button until only the power
led is remain then remove the power connector jack to resume setup.

PROCEDURE:

A. Once the default settings is set the default username and password is admin, and the default IP
address is 192.168.0.1

B. Then you to configure the Network settings using STATIC CONFIGURATION, such WAN
connection type (static), IP ADDRESS using the range ID 192.168.254.____ (note: your host
number will start from 2-255 except 254), subnet (255.255.255.0), default GATEWAY and DNS
(192.168.254.254), then save the settings.

C. Then change the default LAN IP SETTINGS (depending on the prescribe IP class given, you can
use IP CLASS A, B or CLASS C. (For class A ,1-127, class B,128-191, class C, 192-223), then save
your settings.

D. then configure the WIRELESS SETTINGS, such as wireless network name, region, mode, channel
width and channel. Note channel must be identical, then save your settings.

E. then change the WIRELESS SECURITY, password must be a combination of CAPITAL, LETTERS,
small letters, numbers, and symbols.

F. then configure the MAC filtering capability of your router, (It must be ENABLE and the MAC
address to be filtered is from a WIRELESS ENABLE DEVICE. NOTE: your wireless client can browse
and internet webpage once allowed, and unable to load webpage once denied)

G. Then configure the QUALITY OF SERVICE (bandwidth control). Note: Your bandwidth control
must be ENABLE and You have to define the RULE LIST

(download speed)
