EXT. GARDEN -DAY
Two boys are playing outside in their garden. One is digging
in the ground and seems to find something, they come over to
the camera to show it excitedly.
CUT TO:

INT. LIVING ROOM -DAY

A TV in front of a worn leather sofa plays a black and white
version of the scene as three teens look on in different
levels of interest. Abby is sitting on the arm of the sofa
pointing aggressively at the screen whilst Danny plays with
the stone in an anxious manner. Madeline looks vaguely done
with Abby.
ABBY
See I told you I had seen it before
MADELINE
That doesn't make finding a
deformed rock in a charity shop any
cooler idiot
ABBY
Well I'm going to research tonight
and prove you wrong, this is
something cool
A shadow is seen passing the window, Danny turns to look just
as it disappears before turning back towards his friends
clearly thinking it was nothing. Humming can be heard.
CUT TO:

INT. DOORWAY - CONTINUOUS

Slow steps like knocking are heard as the teens approach
talking loudly about if the rock is cool or not. No one seems
to have heard the knocks but Danny who ignores them.
DANNY
Well it was nice seeing this
amazing discovery but my dad's car
is outside and I gotta...
Knocking is faintly heard

ABBY
Ok ok we'll stop, have a nice night
maybe go to sleep for once though
you look more nervous then usual
Danny laughs it off as he looks around for the source of the
knocking
DANNY
Yeah, sounds like a plan
The girls clearly don't believe him. Danny and Madeline walk
out the door, Abby stares for a moment worriedly before
turning away from them to walk to bed.
CUT TO:

EXT. HOUSE - NIGHT

A wolf howling can be heard in the background.
MATCH CUT TO: LIGHT WHERE MOON WAS

INT. ABBY'S ROOM - CONTINUOUS

The head is seen on a side table as it suddenly gets pulled
away by an invisible force. It hits a wall which disturbs
Abby from where she is using a computer a desk.
ABBY
(Sleepily)
Hello.... is anyone there?
Abby gets up to walk around and when her back is to the
window a small rock/pebble is thrown at it making her turn
around quickly and look out the window. Nothing is there just
darkness.
ABBY (CONT'D)
Strange, I should probably go to
sleep
Abby yawns before she sits down to turn her computer off. A
knocking can be heard getting louder.
FADE TO BLACK.

INT. HALLWAY - CONTINUOUS

Alarm sounds as Abby hops putting her shoe on as she is
trying to message at the same time grabbing the head and
putting it in her bag. Running out the door only to run in
again to grab an apple.
MATCH CUT TO: TREE

EXT. WOODS - CONTINUOUS

Abby runs up to the other two teens and sits excitedly
pulling sweets out of her bag to share with the others
ABBY
I did the research
MADELINE (SARCASM)
Oh hurrah
The other two go back to talking quietly as Abby pulls out
her computer to show them. She turns the screen to be angled
towards them. Madeline sighs
ABBY (V.O.)
Ok so
FADE TO: PUPPET SHOW
In 1971, the Robson family were
driven away from their house due to
some strange activity. The
occurrences were reported to have
begun for them only after they
discovered two stone heads in their
garden.

Images like a shadow puppet show appear of the two heads

coming out the ground
ABBY (V.O.) (CONT'D)
One of those heads was called, “the
boy” due to the masculine shape of
the skull, whereas the other was
named “the girl” due to the
presence of female features and
long hair.
The heads get closer to show the different outlines but stop
moving as they are placed on a table

Perhaps the most horrifying
occurrence was witnessed by one of
the family children. The front door
to the home opened itself as they
passed, and outside was a
terrifying half-sheep, half-human
creature. A neighbour also saw the
creature, but by the time the
family responded to the child’s
screams, it had disappeared.
A puppet hand pushes a door open as a child's face that looks
like the scream painting appears hand pointing at the door.
Footsteps and legs running. An empty door frame.
ABBY (V.O.) (CONT'D)
The Robson family started
experiencing paranormal activities
around the house. The heads were
once seen moving by unseen hands,
and the bottles around the house
were thrown across the rooms. These
activities were not limited to the
Robson family, as the kids in their
house found the stones, but also
linked to the neighbour's house.
The heads are shown moving around the house before a bottle
is thrown and shatters on a wall. Two houses are shown as
crashes sound and people run past the windows.
ABBY (V.O.) (CONT'D)
After the discovery was made and
the news reached the journalists
and newspapers, specialists came to
study the Hexham heads. Even the
experts were facing difficulties in
dating these stone heads. They were
examined thoroughly multiple times,
but the results were always
different from the last report.
The heads on a white table surrounded by lots of small
equipment with a microscope as two people appear to be
arguing.
ABBY (V.O.) (CONT'D)
The heads were generally thought to
be linked back to the Celtic
tradition. Dr Anne Ross, an expert
on such art, took on the job of
researching and analysing the
Hexham heads.

But in taking on the heads she also
exposed herself to the curse. Later
she would say that she saw a half-
wolf, half-man figure walking
around upstairs in her house.
A wolf head outline appears in the window behind her. As a
howl is heard.

ABBY (V.O.)
Soon, it became clear to all who
lived there that these Hexham
stones had some supernatural
influence on them. The stones were
removed from the house, and the
hauntings stopped.
Someone taking the heads through a door and it closing with a
bang.
MATCH CUT TO: TREE

EXT. WOODS - AFTERNOON

THE TEENS STILL SITTING AS THE CAMERA GOES AROUND THEM

Madeline and Danny are clearly more interested in the story
as the sweets sit in front of them mostly untouched.
ABBY
However, nobody could have foreseen
what happened next. A man named
Desmond Craige came forward who
claimed that he had made the
stones. He said that in 1956, while
he was living in the Robson's
house, he made three of these
stones for her daughter to play
with.

IT SWITCHES TO A SHOT CLOSER TO ALL THE TEENS

Movement can be seen behind the trees making Danny look over
only to see nothing.

ABBY (CONT'D)
Several researchers have spent
their time with the Hexham heads
over several years. Finally, the
heads fell into the possession of
Southampton University and were
then passed onto a psychic in the
year 1978.

POV FROM THE MONSTER STALKING THEM

Heavy breathing and a heart beat can be heard quietly in the
background as Madeline looks deeply invested.
ABBY (CONT'D)
After that, the stones and psychic
were presumed lost.
Danny now has a worried expression thinking about the
implications.
MADELINE
Epic
DANNY
No not epic what if we get cursed
MADELINE
None of that's real obviously
ABBY
Hey you don't know that
MADELINE
Yeah because somethings going to
appear out of the woods and haunt
us sure
DANNY
What if that does happen better
safe then sorry right?
The teens continue to talk but it can't be heard over the
sounds of breathing and a rapidly speeding up heart beat.
A hand touches Madeline's shoulder as a loud scream is heard.
