B2B E-Commerce Platform
New Saviva Integrale is an innovative, comprehensive
SaaS solution for centralized procurement and goods
management in the food service industry. Saviva AG's
marketplace architecture and ability to create user-
specific supplier catalogs enables them to offer their B2B
customers a real one-stop shopping experience on a
single channel.
ti&m developed a user-centric UX concept, took an agile
approach to implementing the custom-designed, cloud
native AWS-based platform, and has monitored
production since go-live on the basis of a guaranteed
SLA.
The front-end is offered as an Angular-based progressive
web app with offline capability and a barcode scanner
and is also available as a hybrid app for specified
hardware scanners.

Into Switzerland faster
with Via

The new Via app means that foreign RVs and coaches can
enter Switzerland faster and with more flexibility.
Starting from now, the PSVA (lump-sum heavy vehicle charge)
can be recorded and paid via the app easily
and independently – anytime, anywhere. It is no longer
necessary to fill out the PSVA form at border crossings during
opening hours. This reduces waiting times and expenses for
customers.
This Agile project was realized using the React
Native cross-platform framework. SIX Saferpay was
integrated for the payment function. The Spring Boot back-
endruns on Cloud Foundry PaaS in the BIT Cloud.

Your Plus points
for life

Since July 2018: operation, maintenance, and

continued development

Helsana uses the Helsana+ app to reward loyal customers for their health-conscious
lifestyles. Taking preventive measures such as participating in sports or joining a gym allows
Helsana customers to collect Plus points. These can be paid out in cash or redeemed in the
app. ti&m is responsible for maintenance, continued development, and support for the app.
This includes the back-end, apps for iOS/Android, as well as their design and usability
optimization.
ti&m’s approach to development is agile based on the Scrum framework, and it works
directly on-site at the client’s location. The back-end is being redeveloped and modularized
in the Azure cloud, with microservices providing the required services. At the same time,
ti&m operates the solution and provides support. This allows the latest features to be
implemented during the continued development process. It also allows ti&m to ensure that
the solution can be scaled to accommodate more features in the future.

migrolino
Couponing app

Implemented in 12 weeks

migrolino collaborated with ti&m to develop a couponing app to mark the company’s 10th
anniversary. The app rewards customers with digital coupons each week. ti&m supported
the project from the initial idea to the concept and design stage, through to the
development of the app (native), the back-end (Firebase), and the CMS (JS). Based on
migrolino’s branding, the ti&m design team developed a fresh, new design concept
completely focused on the user experience. The goal: to create an app that is not only easy
to use, but also fun.
Tedious processes like onboarding are transformed with animations, and users redeeming
coupons are supported with helpful micro-interactions and transitions. Push notifications
make it easy to get ahold of new coupons right away. To help users find their nearest
migrolino outlet quickly, a store locator was integrated into the app. Users can even store
their Cumulus points card in their profiles and collect points right in the app. A built-in
analytics tool helps migrolino to target its offers precisely, increasing customer satisfaction.

Restructuring of BANK-
now’s website architecture
In the new solution, the monolithic structure of the
BANK-now website is to be replaced with a new
modular and flexible architecture based on modern
technologies and following Agile project implementation.

To this end, ti&m is combining the high-performance

Magnolia CMS with the ti&m channel suite digitalization
and innovation platform. Dynamic and configurable
components can thereby be seamlessly integrated. The
platform’s modular structure means that future
website extensions are easily feasible, and self-contained
tests and releases are possible.

Hydrant Finder App
that saves valuable time

In a fire, every second counts, especially when you need to locate the nearest fire hydrant.
To assist firefighters, ti&m has joined forces with the building insurer GVZ
Gebäudeversicherung Kanton Zürich to develop Switzerland’s first-ever hydrant finder app.
It shows smartphone or tablet users the location of the nearest hydrant, the types of
connector, and the number of hose lengths needed. This is made possible by augmented
reality.
The hydrant location is displayed via the camera, which means hydrants can be located
with pinpoint accuracy, even in unfamiliar places. More than 60,000 hydrants in the canton
of Zurich are already recorded digitally in the app. The needs of app users were fully
integrated into each stage of the development from the very outset. For instance, the app
was specifically optimized for one-handed operation.
Firefighters, designers, and developers joined forces to build the first MVP in the ti&m
garage in just a few weeks. The UX concept was developed as part of a master’s thesis at
the HSR University of Applied Sciences Rapperswil.
