GARD
PLANTING
TOMATO
SEEDS
DAY 1:
PLANTING THE SEEDS
Today, I started on my urban gardening journey as part of my
NSTP subject. I chose to start with tomato seeds, anticipating the
satisfaction of growing my own food. With careful hands, I
planted the tomato seeds in a well-prepared container filled with
nutrient-rich soil. I made sure to space them adequately apart,
giving each seed ample room to grow. After watering them gently,
I placed the container in a sunny spot, eager to witness the first
signs of growth.
DAY 2:
SPROUT EMERGE
To my delight, tiny green sprout emerged from the soil today,
indicating successful germination. I carefully monitored soil
moisture and provided a light watering to support the growing
seedlings. While observing their progress, I researched optimal
conditions for their continued development.
DAY 3:
PATIENCE REWARDED
Surprisingly, there are no visible changes in the tomato seeds
today. However, understanding the importance of patience in
gardening, I checked the soil's moisture level and gave them a
light watering to keep them hydrated. In the meantime, I took the
opportunity to delve into the germination process of tomato seeds,
learning about the ideal conditions necessary for successful
sprouting.
DAY 4:
VIGOROUS GROWTH
The seedlings displayed significant growth today, with their tiny
leaves unfolding further. I watered them gently, taking care not to
disturb their delicate roots. Excitement surged within me as I
witnessed the tangible progress of my gardening efforts.
DAY 5:
ENSURING HEALTH
With the seedlings growing steadily, I turned my attention to their
nutritional needs. Researching fertilization techniques for young
tomato plants, I prepared to provide them with the necessary
nutrients for robust growth. Tomorrow, I will implement these
practices to support their continued health and development.
DAY 6:
PROVIDING NUTRIENTS
With each passing day, I'm filled with pride and anticipation as I
witness their transformation from tiny sprouts to thriving plants.
DAY 7:
REFLECTING ON PROGRESS
As the first week of my urban gardening journey concludes, I take
a moment to reflect on the remarkable progress of the tomato
seedlings. From humble seeds, they have flourished into vigorous
sprouts, symbolizing the potential of future harvests. With
gratitude and determination, I look forward to nurturing these
plants further and witnessing the fruits of my labor in the weeks
to come.
THANK
YOU!
