Hello students, today i will discuss a very important topic of physics that is laws of motion. This topic
is very important for competitive examination like IIT JEE, Neet exam and other exam also.

This topic is a foundation of mechanics in physics. Without knowing this topic, you cannot solve
single penny question of a mechanics.

Then you can imagine how is significance of this topic?

So, let's come to our discussion in this topic.

Isaac Newton was a famous scientist, who discovered three laws of motion, which we experience in
day-to-day life.

As car is moving, so motion of car is connected to second law of motion.

Book is placed stay on the table. That is relate to the first law of motion.

Everything around us are related to the laws of motion. Student remember one point if any topic is
more relevant to the real-time situation, weightage of this topic will be huge in competitive exams.

Before going into deep discussion let's brief about the history of this topic, what did happen in the
past.

Newton was sitting under an apple tree, where he reading a book. Suddenly an apple fell on his
head, it made him think about the gravity.

So, gravity is a force that pull every object towards it centre.

He started thinking that why apple did not hit the ground and bounced back to the tree and stay on
earth

Then he understands that earth attracts every object towards its centre due to high force of
gravitation.

That's why apple did stay on the earth.

After doing lot of research, newton published a principle in1687.

he states that every object in a universe is attracted to each other.

Newtons said that gravitational force depends on two things,

first one is the distance between objects and second one is the mass of objects.

Explain things as given in the ppt.

Let's talk about the newton's law of motion.

Newton laws of motion is also called as newtonic mechanics.

Mechanics is a branch of physics where we deal with motion of object.

Mechanics is divided into two types.

First one is kinematics

and second one dynamic.

In kinematics, we deal the motion of objects without reference to the forces which cause the motion.

In dynamics we deal motion of object with cause. Why motion is going one.

let’s visualize through example
