INJURY PREVENTION AND SAFETY TIPS

• Equipment. It is recommended to use


mats and even surfaces when learning
new skills in cheerdance.
• Fitness. Dancers should maintain a
good fitness level. Proper warm-up
and cool-down exercises should be
observed during and after the activity
