The story is told by Jean Louise, meaning it is first person since she is also the

Calpurnia is The Finch/s maid

The game was called Doo Radley the purpose was too get Bood outside the house.
6. What did Arthur (Boo) Radley do (at age 33) that landed him temporarily in the
county jail?
He stabbed his father in the leg with a pair of scissors.

A jagged scar that ran across his face; what teeth he had were yellow and rotten; his
eyes popped, and he drooled most of the time.

They were a family that don/t give back to people, they were poor, and they had dignity

back with the produce of the farm.

Jem invites Walter to come home with them to have dinner.

Walter had to work in spring season.

1. What does Scout admire about Miss Maudie?
Her intelligence and she always told all the gossip about the Radley’s, meaning
they have a close relationship.

Atticus's brother who is 10 years younger and a doctor.

work?
They're going to stick a note on a loose shutter or window sill, asking Boo to
come out.

His dad doesn’t have a beard.

Chapter 6

Radley.

While they are trying to escape Mr. Nathan, Radley fires a gun at them and while
the try to crawl underneath the fence Jem's pants get snagged and he must ditch
them.

When he went back for his breeches they were folded over the fence as if the were
expecting him and that they were mended clumsily, as if by a man.

As the children passed her house she would berate them for minor infractions in
dress and decorum (or nothing) and, especially, put Atticus down for his defense
of Tom Robinson.

Mrs. Dubose calling Atticus that he isn't any better than the African Americans
and trash he works for infuriates Jem.

He cuts all her flowers and smashes them on the ground with Scout's baton.

Jem's punishment was to read to Mrs. Dubose every day for a month.

Chapter 13

teach them how to dress and behave as they get older.

without any judgement.

She singles out Mr. Cunningham and talks to him about Walter and then that
lowers the tensions causing the mob to break up and leave.

Chapter 17
