The Amazing Race is part of CAHFIESTAHAN 2024 2nd day. With 12 competing teams, this activity will be conducted
within the CAH grounds. The team with the least time to finish all 12 games in the Amazing Race will be declared the
winner.

General Mechanics of the Amazing Race

1. Each team should send strictly 50 members to the Amazing Race. A team with a smaller or larger number of
members will be penalized by adding minute/s to their total time. Each excess or lacking in the total number of
members will have an additional one minute. For example, a team of 49 members will be penalized with plus one
minute. A team with 55 members will be penalized with a plus five minutes. Note that each game master per game
will check the number of members and has the power to add “minute/s”.

2. There will be a total of 12 games to be played. Each game will be played within ten minutes or less, except for 4
pics, 1 word, charades, quiz bee, and guess the OPM. If the team fails to finish the game within 10 minutes, their
total time for that game is 10 minutes. Meanwhile, if the team has finished the game in less than 10 minutes, the
whole duration of playing the game will be recorded.

3. For the games namely 4 pics, 1 word, charades, quiz bee, and guess the OPM, all 10 questions for each game
have to be answered correctly within 10 minutes only. If the team fails to answer all of the questions correctly within
10 minutes, its total time for the game is 10 minutes. Meanwhile, if it successfully answers all the questions in less
than 10 minutes, its total duration in answering all questions in each game will be recorded.

4. The detailed mechanics of each game will be discussed on the Amazing Race itself.

5. The ranking in The Amazing Race is based on the total time. The total time of teams in each game will be added to
determine the final time. The team/s with the least time to accomplish all the games will be deemed the winner/s.
The team with the least number of time will be the 1 st placer in the game, the team with the second least number of
time will be the 2nd placer, and the team with the 3rd least time will be the 3rd placer. The winners of the Amazing
Race will be announced at the awarding ceremony.

6. In each game, 1st placers will get to contribute 15 points to the general scoreboard, 2 nd placers will contribute 10
points, and the 3rd placers will contribute 5 points.
