background that allows them to have a complete understanding of the
world around them, and provides them with tools to continue their
university or professional training.

The baccalaureate in sciences and humanities is made up of several

areas of study, including natural sciences (biology, chemistry, physics),
social sciences (history, geography, economics), mathematics, language
and literature, and arts (music, theater, visual art ). Each area has its
own specific courses that students must take to earn their diploma.

The focus of the baccalaureate in sciences and humanities is to offer a

detailed vision of the different disciplines. The intention is that students
can apply what they have learned in daily life and in their professional
future. Some of the topics covered in the Bachelor of Science and
Humanities include:

Natural Sciences: Students learn about biology, chemistry, and physics,

from basic theories to the most recent advances. They learn to think
scientifically and apply scientific principles in everyday situations.

3
Social Studies: Students learn about history, geography, and economics,
from the beginnings of mankind to the present. They learn to understand
how historical events, social trends, and world economies influence the
