“(h) Agrarian Reform Cooperative is one organized by marginal farmers majority of which are agrarian

reform beneficiaries for the purpose of developing an appropriate system of land tenure, land
development, land consolidation or land management in areas covered by agrarian reform;

(h) Agrarian Reform Cooperative: Imagine a group of farmers who used to work on land owned by
others. Now, they each have their own small plots of land, thanks to a government program.
Instead of working individually, they form a cooperative to help each other with farming tasks like
planting, harvesting, and marketing their crops. For instance, a group of farmers in a village might
join forces to share tools and knowledge, making their farming more efficient and profitable.

“(i) Cooperative Bank is one organized for the primary purpose of providing a wide range of financial
services to cooperatives and their members;

(i) Cooperative Bank: Think of a bank that exists solely to serve other cooperatives and their

cooperative of small businesses, allowing them to expand their operations and create more jobs in
the community.

“(j) Dairy Cooperative is one whose members are engaged in the production of fresh milk which may be
processed and/or marketed as dairy products;

(j) In the Philippines, a Dairy Cooperative, like Davao United Dairy Cooperative (DUDC), is made up of
dairy farmers. These farmers work together to produce fresh milk from their cows. This milk can
then be turned into different dairy products like cheese or yogurt. The cooperative helps its
members sell these products, either in local markets or even across the country. Essentially, it's a
group effort by farmers to produce and sell dairy items, with everyone working together for success.

“(k) Education Cooperative is one organized for the primary purpose of owning and operating licensed
educational institutions notwithstanding the provisions of Republic Act No. 9155, otherwise known as the
Governance of Basic Education Act of 2001;

with the goal of owning and operating a school. Let's call it "Bright Minds Education Cooperative."
The cooperative raises funds, hires teachers, and manages the school's operations, all with the aim
of providing quality education to the children in the community. This cooperative-owned school
operates independently of the regulations set forth in the Governance of Basic Education Act of
2001, allowing for more flexibility and community involvement in the education system
“(l) Electric Cooperative is one organized for the primary purposed of undertaking power generations,
utilizing renewable energy sources, including hybrid systems, acquisition and operation of subtransmission

“(m) Financial Service Cooperative is one organized for the primary purpose of engaging in savings and
credit services and other financial services.

A Financial Service Cooperative is like a credit union where members save money, borrow at fair
rates, and get financial advice.

Members "pool savings" means they combine their savings together into one fund. This combined
money is then used to offer loans for things like starting a business or buying a home

So, it's like a community bank where everyone helps each other by saving together and borrowing

improve their lives.

For example, imagine a group of fishermen forming a cooperative. Instead of working individually,
they join forces to sell their fish. This cooperative might buy fishing equipment together to save
money, negotiate better prices when selling their catch, or even set up facilities to process fish.

An example could be a cooperative of fishermen who sell their fresh fish at a local market or work
together to export processed seafood products to other countries.

In summary, it's a way for fishermen to team up, increase their income, and improve their
livelihoods by working together as a group.
