Description

The FFS JPS 3000 trailer based jet pump proportioning unit are of robust design incorporating all required
accessories such as foam concentrate hoses, foam solution hose, adaptors, waterway equipment and cou-
pling wrenches.

The trailer configuration allow for easy deployment of the unit directly to site where solution hose can be de-
ployed from two dedicated flaked hose storage compartments that allow for hose to be played in a reverse
lay configuration from the trailer monitor to the dedicated foam staging area.

The hose trays are configured to be removable thus allowing options to transfer the loaded hose trays to pick
truck and thus allowing to deploy the hose independently from the JPS 3000 in forward lay towards the trailer
monitor.

Recovery of the hose are made easier in similar fashion where drained hose can be flaked back into the hose
trays post incident. Hose trays are configured to customer requirement to enable options of different size hose
i.e. driving water hose and foam solution thus eliminating the need for equipment to be brought in from other
resources.

Material for piping, chassis and hose tray is Stainless steel (AISI 316L) with superb strength and corrosion
resistance. Ejector unit is of bronze material. Each proportioner is assembled, pressure– and function tested
at the factory in Sweden with highly qualified personnel and the latest ISO 9001 management system.

The proportioner metering valve allows for step less adjustment of the foam mixture. Each concentrate inlet
are fitted with strainers to fend of debris and preventing malfunction during operation. Each inlet are fitted with
check valves to prevent back flow on the jet pumps.

Post operation foam flush feature are built into the plumbing arrangement to facilitate easy flushing of the
complete system. The foam concentrate inlet plumbing arrangement are configured to be independent to al-
low for easy placement of foam concentrate hose arrangement in relation to foam tankers or foam tote stag-
ing arrangements.

The trailer are configured with a removable tow bar that are located on the driving water and foam solution
outlet side of the trailer. The trailer are equipped with 4 stabilizers that provide a compact rigid platform to
work from.
