A haiku is a traditional Japanese type of poetry based on themes of nature. You’ve

probably worked with haikus already at school.
It’s your turn to write some haikus now.
Look at each image in the left column. As you look at it, write all the words that come
to mind in the middle column. In the final column, write a haiku.
A haiku’s structure is:
● Line 1: five syllables
● Line 2: seven syllables
● Line 3: five syllables.
