Subject: Proposal of “ইউ আই ইউ বসন্ত উৎসব ১৪২৯”

Dear Sir,

The Directorate of Students Affairs (DSA) of United International University is aiming to

conduct the biggest cultural festival of the student community of UIU, titled ‘ইউ আই ইউ
বসন্ত উৎসব ১৪২৯’. The date of day long program has been scheduled on 14th February,
2023 (১লা ফাল্গুন ১৪২৯). The festival-loving Bangladeshi people welcome and celebrate this
day with great joy, love and in a colorful manner. Many other cultural activities are held across
the nation to commemorate the day. Well, as Spring is a colorful season and Bengali People
embellish themselves with this vibe. We really want to celebrate the first day of spring. Besides,
it's a new trimester, it will be refreshing if we organize an event!

UIU Cultural Club is going to organize the event collaborating with all the clubs and forums of
UIU. The venue for the program would be the Multi-purpose Hall of United International
University. It is expected that our Honorable Chairman of United Group and Vice-chancellor
of UIU will grace the event with their presence in the opening and closing ceremony.

Throughout the past years, UIUCC organized “Megahunt”, “Borsho-boron”, “UIU Club
Forum Fest”, “Unplugged” “Bijoy keton” and many season of Boshonto Utshob from 2008.
Which have always promoted the unity, diversity and harmony of the students of UIU
throughout the University and others. The Details of the program have been attached below.

We therefore, pray and hope for your generous support towards the student’s community of UIU
and allow us to organize the largest student recreation event on the mentioned dates.

Overview
United International University Cultural Cub is proud to present. The United International University DSA
& Cultural Cub will jointly organize the day-long programs "ইউ আই ইউ বসন্ত উৎসব ১৪২৯" celebrating. It
is considered to be the biggest and the most awaited event of our university as all students come
together to aid this program.
The Bengali calendar's eleventh month, Falgun, represents the beginning of the season of Spring, the
most beautiful of the year's six distinct seasons, which is marked by pleasant sunshine, flowering plants,
and chirping birds.

Falgun brings joys and colours both in nature and life. Everything in nature gives an impression of
youthfulness or freshness, as if the nature takes a new birth. The festival-loving Bangladeshi people
welcome and celebrate this day with great joy, love and in a colourful manner. Many other cultural
activities are held across the nation to commemorate the day.

Spring is a colourful season and Bengali People embellish themselves with this vibe. We really want to
celebrate the first day of spring. Besides, it's a new trimester, it will be refreshing if we organize an
event! UIUCC believes in quality and it wants to set its landmark in its unique ways.

UIUCC started its journey in 2004. When UIUCC organizes any event, UIU student’s participation makes
events lively. We have a total of 25 Clubs and Forums in UIU. For the last few years, we have organized
many events indoors & outdoors. We have all current students to participate in this event. Our faculties
also will come and join in this event. They also participate with us.

The main attraction of this event is the segments which will be categorized as a day-long plan. The
segments are:

Beginning (Honorable Vice Chancellor of UIU along with the respected guests and UIU family
members will open this Bengali cultural program with their valuable word and announce the
program officially)

Discussion (speech from the guest in auditorium, panel discussion with delegates)

Cultural Event of UIUCC (UIU Cultural Club will carry out various activities in the spirit of
welcoming spring )
