After Roxanne and Deniece, Vhong faces third rape complaint

MANILA, Philippines – Another woman has come forward accusing actor-comedian

Vhong Navarro of rape, which she said happened in 2009, according to reports by
The Philippine Daily Inquirer and The Philippine Star.

The woman, who said she was a stunt double and a lesbian, filed the charges at the
Quezon City prosecutor’s office. According to the affidavit obtained by the Inquirer on
Friday, April 4, the woman detailed that she was invited by Vhong to go inside a
vehicle during a taping of a telenovela in 2009, where Vhong was part of the cast.

The Inquirer report quoted the complainant as saying, “When we were both inside
the SUV, Vhong told me something like, ‘Ang ganda ganda mong tibo. Dapat
makatikim ka ng tunay na lalaki para di ka na maghanap ng babae. (You’re a very
pretty lesbian. You should taste a real man so you won’t look for another girl.)

She also accused him of forcing her to perform oral sex on him, and that when she
threatened to bite Vhong, he masturbated in front of her.

She also claimed that Vhong touched her genitalia.

Meanwhile, Alma Mallonga, Vhong’s lawyer, confirmed that his camp has heard of
the new charges filed against her client, according to a report by Pep.ph dated April
4.

Mallonga said that they have yet to receive a copy of the complaint, but that they
would respond. “We will follow the process, knowing full well that Vhong will be
vindicated. Let us not lose focus,” she said.

This is the third woman to file a rape case against the actor. Last January, model
Deniece Cornejo filed a rape case against the actor for an alleged sexual assault on
January 22, the night of a controversial incident which left Navarro severely injured.

According to Navarro, he was attacked and was a victim of extorion by Cornejo,

Cedric Lee and their other companions. Meanwhile, Cornejo’s camp said he
sustained his injuries after Lee and company caught him attempting to rape Cornejo.
Around a month after, Cornejo said through a counter-affidavit that she was also
raped by Navarro on the night of January 17.

In February, another complainant, Roxanne Acosta Cabañero, also claimed that she
was raped by the actor in April 2010 in Pasig City.

Navarro denied both allegations.
