Further, it is submitted that there are 148 officers i.e, 13 group-A officers, 80 Superintendent and
55 Inspectors under this commissionerate who are eligibe for accessing the GSTN BO.
Hence, if approved the administrative apporval for procurement of 150(approx) Digital Signature
Certificate may be given.

Kind attention is invited to Note#30, wherein an
administrative approval for procurement of approximate 150
number of digital signature certificate has been approved by the
Commissioner, GST & Central Excise, Rourkela Commissionerate,
Rourkela.

Further, it is submitted that the budget available in the

digital equipment head is Rs.170000/-(approx).

On going through the GeM portal for the procurement of 100

numbers of DSC, it is seen that the portal has selected L-1 in its
category rate @1592/- each totaling to Rs. 1,59,200/- of DSC on
comparison basis. (Comparison sheet is attached at
correspondence side for ready reference ).

As per budget available in digital equipment head i.e Rs.

1,70,000/- approximately, only 100 numbers of DSC may be
purchased.

Hence, if approved, an amount of Rs. 1,59,200/- may kindly

be sanctioned for purchasing 100 number of Class 3 PAN based
DSC for officers of Rourkela Commissionerate.
