We are in the fifth or the sixth week, the Dr uploaded the file that have our groups. In my group
there is a girl and two boys, I know one of them he takes MEEN courses with me, to be honest I am
kind of relieved because I see how good his work is and how he does everything in time. But I am
worried about the other two as I said in my first blog, I have communication issues and I worked
before with the one who takes as my same courses but these two there are new to, and I am really
scared of saying something and they understand me in a wrong way, so they get mad. We sat
together as a group and started discussing about the project we want, we had to bring 3 or 4
problems that we can solve as engineers, it was kind of hard because we didn’t get the purpose of
the project but after asking the Dr she explained in a great way and after her explanation we got the
problems, now we have to look for solutions. My team is very good they are so sweet I even got
comfortable very fast and nothing from what I was afraid of happened, they understood me really
fast, and they tried to make everyone comfortable because all of us were afraid of the same things
which are misunderstanding and communication problems. I forgot to mention our first assignment
that was before the project, it was a team charter we created a google doc and shared it to all of us,
then every team member did his own part and we helped each other in a good way. I had a big
problem which is the submission, it was supposed to be in this way, the team manager submits the
assignment and it will be submitted for all of us but when our team manager submitted it, it didn’t
submit in my canvas, I emailed the Dr about it but I think I still have this issue, and then I submitted
the charter but it marked late so I don’t know if this will cause a problem for me, I am concern about
my grade It is a sensitive point for me, I have been raised like this, it kills me sometimes because I
have to study a lot but when I see the grades I forget how hard that was.
