Road Creator
There are two ways to create road.
① Create a road along the outline of the site
② Create a road by drawing a reference line.

To create a road along an outline of a site

1. Select a line or lines where you want the road to be.


Note: You cannot select a curved line or lines which are not connected.

2. Click on “Road Creator”


*Point numbers appear on a plan.

・Level Settings:
Input a value for the road level. Define levels at each

point to create a slanted road.

・Width Settings:
Select one or input value for the road width.

・Extended Length Settings:


Select 0mm or input value. Having an extended length
is recommended for creating an oblique perspective.

・Reference Line:
Select one side you want the road to be. If you want to
install an object such as grating or curbstones between
the road and the reference line, choose one from
choices.

・Click “Preview” to check and “OK” to finish.

To create a road by drawing a reference line.

1. Click on the “Road Creator” icon.


Note: In this case, do not select any line when clicking on the icon.

2. Draw a reference line for the road. Double click at the end point to finish.

・Settings appear on the screen.

3. Follow the same step as above to create a road.

Note: This function creates roads with “Mesh Tool”


so you can modify them anytime.

Modify concrete curb for car entry


・Concrete curbstone for site boundary can be modified for car entry by changing the parameter.

Car Entry Part

(Normal) (Down) (Middle) (Up) (Normal)

・After choosing the concrete curbstone as site boundary in setting, these curbstones are placed as grouped objects.

1. Select the curbstone object and ungroup.

2. Select the concrete curbstone you want to modify.

3. Right-click and click on “Object Selection Settings”.

・Object Selection Settings appears.

4. Click on following settings.


・CUSTOM SETTINGS
→ TRANSFORM SETTINGS
→ icon next to “0:Normal 1:Down 2:Middle 3:Up”

・Array Values Settings appears.

5. Input a value in each column.


Note: “0: Normal 1: Down 2: Middle 3: Up

Click OK to finish and check the 3D view for result.

Tip: If you want to create gentle slope,

Tip: If you check “Change to Round Type” at the bottom of transform settings, the edge of curbstone changes to round
type.

Slope Adjuster -Percentage

1. Draw the shape of the floor plan with [Slab], [Mesh], or [Fill] tool.
Note: No height setting is required when entering with the [Slab] or [Mesh] tool.

2. Select the element.

3. Click “Slope Adjuster – Percentage”

4. Click on point ① ② to set the reference line, and ③ to set the gradient direction.

・The setting screen appears

5. Enter a height value for point 1 and 2, and a slope angle.


Note: Check the “Adjust vertex level” to modify each level
after finishing.

6. Click Preview to check and OK to finish


Note: When you use [Slab] or [Fill] tool to create the space for this function, the element will be converted to [Mesh]
element with thickness of 0.

(7.) If you checked the “Adjust vertex level” box, the setting on
the right appears. Enter a value for each level and
when you are done, click OK to finish.

Slope Adjuster -Height

1. Draw the shape of the floor plan with [Slab], [Mesh], or [Fill] tool.

2. Select the element.

3. Click “Slope Adjuster – Height”

4. Click on 3 points to specify the height.

・The settings screen appear.

5. Enter a height value for each point.

6. Click Preview to check and OK to finish

Slant Tool
Use this tool to adjust elements on a slanted surface on a 2D screen.

1. Draw a plan with [Mesh] tool.

2. Adjust the inclination of the mesh object by clicking on an outline


→ choose [Elevate Mesh Point] then input height value.

3. Place an object.

4. Select the object you want to adjust and click “Slant adjustment”

5. Draw a reference from the start (1st ) and end (2nd ) point of the slope.

6. Enter each height.
Note: The unit is in mm.
It is easier to use level dimension tool to obtain the height first.

7. Click OK

Land Formation
Use this function to create undulating elements from contour lines.

1. Draw contour lines using [Polyline] or [Spline] tool.

2. Select all the lines

3. Click “Land Formation”

4. Enter the height value for each mesh point.

5. Click OK to finish.

・ Heights can be changed after it’s created.


6. Click and hold the point you want to change, select “Elevate Mesh Point”

Fence Arrangement

Place a fence on a wall.

1. Draw a wall in advance.

2. Select a fence from the object tool.

3. Select the wall you want to place the fence on with arrow tool.

4. Click “Fence Arrangement”


Note: You can place a fence on floor plan, but it is easier to arrange it on 3D plan which allows you to confirm the back
and front sides of the fence.

・Fence Arrangement Settings appears.

・Choose “Registered Fence” if you want to use the ones in “favorite”

5. Click “OK” to finish.

Place a fence/handrail on slanted object *Available Only to slab/mesh element.

1. Click on “Fence Arrangement”


Note: Do not select any object at this point.

2. Click where you want to place a fence/handrail object. Double click at the end point to finish.
Note: this function automatically acquires the level of the points. However, the selected object needs to be available
for this feature.

3. Click OK to finish.

Fence Arrangement Settings
Change the fence settings such as height and color at your preference and register it in advance to use in “Fence
Arrangement”.

1. Select the fence you want to place, and change the


settings at your preference. When you’re done,
click OK to finish.

2. Place the fence on your floor plan.

3. Click “Favorite for Fence Arrangement”


Note: Up to 12 fences can be registered.

4. Select a fence placed on your floor plan, and choose


one fence you want to replace it with in the favorites.

5. Click “Update” to replace.

6. Click “Close” to finish.

Curb Creator
1. Draw a reference line using [Line], [Arc/Circle], or [Polyline] tool.

2. Select the line and click “Curb Creator”

・Curb Creation Settings appears.

Change the settings of installed curbs.

The curb settings can be changed after installation.

1. Select the curb you want to change

2. Right-click to click “Object Selection Settings”

3. Change the settings on the settings screen and click OK to finish.

Remove the curbs.

1. Select the curb you want to remove.

2. Right-click to click “Delete” or use the [Delete] key on your keyboard.

Rock Wall Creator
1. Click “Rock Wall Creator”

・Rock Wall Creator Settings appears



① Select the type of stone product

② Specify the installation height and inclination angle



③ Specify the materials for the masonry body and joint

④ Specify the stone volume.


Note: [3D] [Random] [No Joint] options are available only
when you choose type A

⑤ Select the direction

2. Click OK to finish.

3. Draw a reference line. Double click at the end to finish.

4. Check the result in 3D.

Note: You can also ungroup the object then modify the stone material one by one.

Stone Arrangement
Stone Arrangement

Place multiple stone objects in a selected area.

1. Click “Stone Arrangement”

Stone Arrangement setting screen appears.

2. Specify the settings and click OK

3. Draw a figure to place the stones.

4. By clicking the starting point to end input, stones will be placed on the area.

You can also arrange stones by using the magic wand tool.

Wood Deck Creator
Creates various shapes of wood decks. You can also create handrails and steps at the same time.

1. Draw the outline of wood deck using [Slab] tool, or [Line] and [Fill] tool.

2. Select the outline.


Note: You cannot select multiple slabs or fills when creating a wood deck.

3. Click “Wood Deck Creator”

・The setting screen appears.

Foundation Pitch

Depending on the shape of the wood deck, it may not be arranged at the specified pitch.
In that case, adjust the position of the post

4.Specify each setting and click OK. Y Direction

Option Settings

Select one of the fence types to arrange fence on the deck, and check “Available” for the deck step to create steps.
When you select these options and click OK, the cursor changes to a pencil mark on the deck.

1. Draw a reference line for the fence and double click at the end point to finish.

・The confirmation dialog appears. Click OK to finish fence input.

2. Input the steps using the square box which appears on the screen when you finish fence input.

Note:

The materials and size are adjustable after creating a deck.

・The steps and posts: object


・The floor: slab tool
・The side boards: wall tool

The created deck is grouped at first. By ungrouping each object, you can change the settings
individually.

Calculation Palette
1. Click “Calculation Palette”

2. Select the element and click on “Obtain”


Note: Hold the [Shift] key and click to select multiple elements.

3.Select the area and click “Notation” to place the result on the plan as an object.

Note: The result is copied to the clipboard when you click the item such as height, perimeter and areas. You can paste
the result on the drawing or other software such as Excel.

Slab/Mesh calculation

By selecting both mesh and slab elements and click “Obtain”, areas combined will be calculated.

Click “Each Side” → “Notation” to place numbers on the element.

Measuring length

1. Click on the icon next to “Length”

2. Click at the side you want to measure and double click to finish.

3. Click “Yes” to confirm.

Measuring Area

1. Click on the icon next to “Area”

2. Enclose the area you want to measure and double click to finish.

Billboard Tool
You can turn a tree/plant on the drawing in the direction of the camera and change the way it is displayed.


1 Line Drawing… Display the plants as line drawing.

2 Colored Drawing… Display the plants with picture file.

3 Plan View…Display the plants as plan view

4 Rotation… Rotate the plants on the plan to face the camera.

To change the display on elevation plan

1. Display the elevation

2. Click “line drawing”

3. Click the direction of the elevation plan.

Hedge Creator
1. Click “Hedge Creator”

・Setting screen appears.

2. Specify each setting.

3. Draw a hedge and double click at the end point to


finish drawing.

To change hedge type

1. Select a plant

2. Click “Hedge Creator” and select [Custom] type

3. Draw a hedge and double-click at the end to finish.

Note: The white line around the hedge disappears after rendering.

To change the settings

1. Open object settings.

① Bottom Elevation to GL:


Change the hedge installation position

② Height

③ Shadow: (Default: None )
The rendering speed is increased by not
displaying the shadow of the hedge when

rendering.

Change the hedge display in the plan view. ③

Shrubbery Creator
1. Click “Shrubbery Creator”

2. Specify the settings.

① Arrangement:

Select [random] to choose a combination from the “Plants Random setting”

④ Layer and reference level:


Select a layer and specify the reference level.

3. Draw a shape to create shrubbery. Double click at the end to finish.


Note: Finely click the area to create a curve.

Changing the shrubbery settings

1. Select the shrubbery


2. Right-click to click “Object Selection Setting”

① Bottom Elevation to GL ②
② Height
③ Simple Expression
When displaying the elevation plan,
simple expression will speed up the display

④ Shadow (Default: None)


The speed of rendering is increased by not ③
displaying the shadow

3. Click OK to finish.

Note: When you choose “Simple Expression”, the outline of the shrubbery won’t be displayed in elevation plan. To
avoid confusion, add a line using [Line] tool.

Changing the shape

1. Select the shrubbery

2. Click “Shrubbery Creator”

・The shrubbery changes to [Mesh] element

3. Change the shape of shrubbery using arrow tool.

4. Select the shrubbery again

5. Click “Shrubbery Creator”

・[Mesh] element changes back to shrubbery

Plants Random Setting

1. Click “Plants random setting”

2. Settings appears.

Note: Maximum number you can register is 5 plants per a pattern. If 5 plants have been already registered, you need to
delete one to register a new plant.

Delete a registered plant


Select the one you want to delete and click [Delete]

Add a new plant


Place the plant you want to add on your plan.
Select it with the arrow tool and click [Add]

3. Click Close to finish.

Note: Up to 10 patterns of planting combinations can be registered in this setting.


You can also rename each combinations by clicking [Rename]

Green Wall Arrangement
1. Click “Green Wall Arrangement”

・Settings appear.

2. Specify each setting and click OK to finish.

Note:

・Plants set #1 and #2 will both displayed on the plan.


If you want to use only one set, select “None”
from Plants set #2

・The height of the green wall will be


the Distance: (H) x Number of Rows

・Plants set can be modified from “plants random setting”

3. Draw a reference line for the green wall.


Double click at the end to finish.

・The cursor changes to “ Plan View

4. Click on the direction for the green wall to be installed.

Plants Consecutive Arrangement
Arranges bedding plants along a line.

1. Draw a line using the [Line], [Polyline] or [Spline] tool.

2. Select the line

3. Click “Bedding Plants Consecutive Arrangement”

① Position:
Random: Arranges the plants in random.
Unified: Arranges one of the selected plants

② Edge Arrangement:
Center at Edge Point: Place the object using the edge
points as the center.

Edge Offset: Place the object starting/ending ②


with the edge. ③

③ Arrangement Pitch:
Specify the arrangement pitch

4. Click “Preview” to check the result and “OK” to finish.
