1 day later

Danya: Akshara, come let’s go see Kaviya. I'm scared if she still taking the drug.
Arsha: Yes, Ranya we must go see her.

Arsha: Kaviya! Why are you taking the drugs again

Danya: Kaviya just tell us what happened.
Kaanchana: OK, I will tell you guys what happened.
Kanchu will tell the story

Danya: I’m very sorry Kaviya

Arsha: Yes, I'm very sorry. But for that why are you taking drugs?
Kaanchana: I hate my life. I feel so stressed that’s why I'm taking drugs
Danya: but do you know how many side effects it has?

If you take drugs:

Arsha: People use drugs for lots of different reasons. Whatever your
reason, using drugs may have a long-term negative effect on you.
Danya: When taking drugs (usually by swallowing, inhaling, or injecting),
abused drugs find their way into the bloodstream. From there, they move
to the brain and other parts of the body. In the brain, drugs may intensify
or dull the senses, change how alert or sleepy people feel, and
sometimes decrease physical pain.

Arsha: Importantly, drugs also can affect your mental health. If you use
drugs for a long time it can cause serious issues for your mental health.
Drugs can make you more unwell and more likely to try and harm
yourself or take your own life. drugs can make you feel depressed,
anxious and paranoid.

Kanchu: OK, I understand. Thank you for caring about me. Bye
Arsha & Danya: You most welcome Kaviya. Bye, see you after the
school holiday.

2 weeks later

Arsha: Ranya let’s go visit Kaviya.

Danya: OK Akshara, let’s go visit her.

Kaviya is doing meditation.

Kanchu: Oh, hi guys.

Arsha: Oh my god, we are very proud of you.
Danya: After two weeks. We saw our old Kaviya back. I'm very happy.
Kanchu: Yes guys because of you I changed into myself. Now I'm taking plenty
of rest and eating fruits and vegetables. I’m getting 8 hours of sleep every day.
Thank you very much, guys. If you didn’t tell me that day to stop taking drugs I
will take my own life.
A&D: No worries, Kaviya. We will be always there for you.

Hi I’m Danyasrii, I’m Kaanchana and I’m Arsha

Danya: Drugs can have a serious impact on your mental health. They can
cause paranoia, anxiety, depression, and even psychosis. If you're taking
drugs, it's important to be aware of the potential risks and to take steps to
protect your mental health.

Kaanchana: It can also lead to problems with sleep, appetite, and

concentration. All drugs have some kind of effect on your mental
health. They can affect the way you see and experience things,
your mood and your behaviour.

Arsha: The effects of recreational drugs might feel pleasant or

unpleasant. They may last for a short time or a longer period.
Some effects may continue after the drug itself has worn off.

Please avoid drugs. It is not good for your health and

importantly it will affect your mental health.
