Oscar: Welcome to Life in Perspective! Today we will talk with three panelists who will share with
us their personalities and what they would like to change in their lives. Let's start with Juan. Tell us
a little bit about yourself and what you would like to change.

Juan: Hi, Oscar. I am an incredibly anxious person and I would like to be more relaxed. I'm always
worrying about little things and it's hard for me to enjoy the present. If only I could improve that
aspect of myself, I think I would be a happier person.

Oscar: I understand, have you tried any meditation or breathing techniques to help control
anxiety?

Juan: Thanks for the advice, but I have tried meditating and that doesn´t normally work for me,
because I find it hard to concentrate. When I try to meditate I start to think that maybe it doesn't
work and I get even more anxious, I ask myself: What if it doesn't work, what can I do?

Oscar: Well, a good tip is to start with small breathing and meditation exercises. You can find
videos online or apps to guide you through the process. You could also try yoga or pilates, which
will help you relax and focus on your breathing.

Juan: Ok, I will try. I will look for some place where I can concentrate better and maybe try some
Yoga, I don't want to give up with my problem.

Oscar: Let's move on to Angelo, what would you like to change in your life, Angelo?

Angelo: Hi, Oscar.Well I would like to change some things in my life, But if I had to change somethi
ng specific, I would like to be more extroverted. I always doubt my decisions and that has led me
to miss opportunities.
Oscar: That's a very common thing, Angelo, have you tried to work on your self-esteem and
confidence?

Angelo: Yes, I have read some books on the subject, but I still don't see a big difference, another th
ing that i tried was to force myself to start a conversation, but the difficult thing is not to start a co
nversation, the difficult thing is that I really don't know how to hold a conversation.I find it strange
and uncomfortable at times.

Oscar: Well, one thing that can help you is to practice positive thinking. When you are faced with a
situation that makes you doubt, think about your strengths and what you have achieved so far.
You can also try to do things that make you feel good about yourself, like exercising or having a
hobby.

Angelo: Thanks for the advice! I will give it a try.

Oscar: Finally, we have Ariana, what would you like to change in your life?

Ariana: Hi, Oscar. I would like to be more organized. I feel that my life is chaotic and that causes
me stress. IF I HAD MORE TIME IN THE DAY, I COULD DO MORE THINGS AND WOULD NOT BE
STRESSED. ALSO
I WOULD HAVE A HEALTHY LIFE FOR EXAMPLE BY EATING HEALTHY MORE FRUITS OR
VEGETABLES, I AM DETERMINED TO GIVE ME TIME EVERY DAY TO EXERCISE.

Oscar: I understand, Ariana, have you tried to make a daily plan or a to-do list?

Ariana: Yes, I've tried, but I'm having a hard time following the plan. THE REASON IS THAT I DID
NOT ORGANIZE MYSELF DURING THE DAY.

Oscar: A good tip is to make a list of small tasks, so you don't feel overwhelmed. You can also try
to make a daily routine that helps you be more organized, such as having a schedule for getting up
and going to bed.

Ariana: Thanks for the tip! I'm definitely going to try that.

Oscar: All right, that's it for today on Life in Perspective. I hope you find our tips helpful.
