practical knowledge for professional athletes and sport professionals with the aim of

throughout the investigation made by Dong Hwang Kim, it presents clear, well-reasoned
data and interpretations, making the content interesting and attractive for the reader.

To begin with, Kim’s statements and clear data on self-efficacy and how this influence
individual minds along with resilience stated that this could manifest motivational and
behavioral mechanisms to face hardships, his research suggests that “by triggering
emotional, motivational, and behavioral mechanisms in trying situations, self-efficacy
beliefs foster resilience. As a result, some people consider self-efficacy to be a vital
component of resilience (Rutter, 1987; Werner & Smith, 1982)” (2) Kim also found in its
research that while some encounter hardship throughout their life for some reason, they
are inclined to have more favorable outcomes in terms of mental health and over all well
being since they are more likely to seek out for social assistance by this developing a
feeling of proficiency, therefore they improve their capacity to deal with future
challenges. (2)

According to Kim “Psychological resilience, the ability to bounce back from challenging
circumstances, has been a subject of enduring interest among researchers and
healthcare professionals (Richardson, 2002). (3) The key factor in developing resilience
is said to be the consistency of physical activities and individual one physical activities
