It is submitted that the High Shear Mixing facility is required in Highway Engineering
Laboratory, Department of Civil Engineering. This facility includes laboratory High Shear
Mixer & Mixing Chamber. The mixing chamber is mainly to be installed for health &
environmental reason. The use of this equipment in carrying out research work for
Undergraduate & Post-graduate students. As this facility is mainly required to prepare
modified bitumen and asphalt.

The approximate cost of above mentioned equipment is around Rs.230,000/=

This mater is submitted for kind approval and necessary action.
