One-Day Seminar for Awareness of “Price Adjustment Formula” under PEC Guidelines

1. PEC developed following Price Adjustment procedure in order to provide an equitable mechanism for
implementation by all concerned and notified/circulated to relevant departments/stakeholders and also
uploaded on PEC Website: -
a. Unprecedented Price Hike in Construction Inputs – Criteria and Procedure for Incorporation of Price
Adjustment Provisions in the Ongoing Contracts August 2022.
b. Standard Procedure and Formula for Price Adjustment (Revised Edition) – May 2022
2. PEC regularly receives queries from the construction industry warranting thorough
understanding/clarification of the above documents in their respective project (ongoing and futuristic).
In order to get the stakeholders/ procuring agencies and professional engineers engaged in contract
management/procurement acquainted with the provisions of Price Adjustment, PEC has arranged “One-

5. Interested department/organization may send nomination of suitable professionals in city of their choice
related to the subject topic in following format along with scanned copy of fee receipt through email to
