To Whom It May Concern:

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter in support of Mr. Ernesto Escobar.
I had the opportunity to serve as Ernesto’s supervisor while he completed an
internship for Arizona State University. Ernesto interned in my first grade dual
language classroom at Aguilar Elementary School during the first semester of
the 2022-2023 school year. Ernesto reliably came every week to fulfill his time
requirements and assisted students in a variety of ways. Ernesto was always
willing to tutor students individually with sight word recognition, as well as
hold small group activities based around phonics, comprehension, and
mathematical standards. He was a valuable addition to my classroom.

Ernesto has gained experience with Common Core Standards and strategies
to help students acquire new knowledge. He understands what the
expectations are regarding student behavior and helps to reinforce positive
choices with students.

Ernesto embodies many qualities that I would hope for in future educators. He
is reliable, patient, motivated and focused on success.
