rise to Indian MNCs. Eg : Infosys(IT), Rambaxy(Pharmaceutical), Tata Motors(Automative).
e) The educated and aware part of our population has thus really benefitted from
globalization.
f) However, globalization has not been the same for everyone.
g) Due to increased competition small companies have found it extremely difficult to
compete in the market.
h) Many small-scale factories also had to be closed due to globalization.
i) Small Indian companies have also lost their identity by being taken over by MNC’s. Eg:
Parakh Foods being taken over by Cargill Foods.
j) In conclusion, Globalization has not had the same effects on the whole population. While
it has had positive effects on some, it also has been the reason for despair for some.
