Students are required to adhere to the rules and guidelines set forth by the instructor

for assignments and exams, and to take accountability for their own work. Each
assignment will be clearly marked with instructions regarding collaboration. If no
instructions are provided, students should assume that the work must be completed
independently, from start to finish. Academic dishonesty encompasses actions such
as cheating on exams or assignments, plagiarism in any form (including improper
source citation), allowing someone else to take an exam or complete an assignment
on one's behalf, or misrepresenting someone else's work as one's own. Breaches of
academic integrity will result in a failing grade for the course. If students have any
doubts about whether something constitutes Academic Misconduct, they should
seek clarification from the instructor before submitting their work. While certain
course materials may be accessible online, this does not grant students permission to
copy, sell, or distribute any course materials. Selling or distributing course
materials—including lecture notes, code, videos, or homework assignments—violates
the student code of conduct.
