Job Summary:

Heitmeyer has banking client that has a need within their Chief Information Security Office
for a Senior Information Security Engineer to architect, design, implement and maintain the
information system security controls and countermeasures. The role is on-site and based in
Rodgers, AR.

Job Description:
The Senior Information Security Engineer will serve as a key team member within the Chief
Information Security Office and leverage their advanced expertise in information and cyber
security to develop, configure, deploy and manage multiple security tools across the
enterprise.

Top Required Skills:

1. Possess significant experience with Information Security Engineering – prefer 5+

years
2. Experience with architecture, designing, building, implementing and maintaining
information security controls and countermeasures:
• Enterprise Security Tools: including experience with several security
solutions - Web Application Firewalls; SASE solutions (web filtering, DLP,
SaaS); Malware Defenses; Email Security (DKIM, SPF, DMARC, general mail
routing).
• Networking: Firewall policies, troubleshoot packet captures.
• Code and Scripting: Terraform; Ansible; Python; PowerShell, Perl, SQL
• Cloud environment: able to apply security principles across a hybrid Cloud
environment
• Framework knowledge: MITRE, STRIDE
3. Knowledge of information and network security architecture including topology,
protocols, components and principles.
4. Ability to apply customization and API integration techniques to automate the
administration of authentication and access controls.
5. Strong communication with High EQ - need to partner with multiple stakeholders
across IT and LOB teams.

Nice-to-have:

1. Information Security Certifications - CISSP, GCTI Cyber Threat Intelligence

2. Background within financial services would be extremely beneficial but not required

Top Responsibilities:

• Develop security programs and execute security projects to address identified risks
and business security requirements.
• Analyze and recommend security controls and procedures within business processes
to ensure risk mitigation and compliance.
• Lead and manage deployment of information security capabilities while reporting on
incidents, vulnerabilities and trends.
• Coordinate response to infosec incidents including the investigation and remediation
of cyber-attacks and threats - including work with 3rd party responders.
 • Stay up to date on industry trends, news and changes in threat and compliance
environment regarding organizational risk.
