A. Plan and Objectives of the Business

CleanEarth Pest Solutions is an environmentally conscious company

situated in Manila, Philippines, owned by a group of nine individuals. The

company provides the community with its product, Antegano, which is a natural

ant repellent. The company prides itself on its commitment to minimizing its

environmental footprint while conducting business operations. It emphasizes the

provision of safe, non-toxic, and natural solutions for effectively managing ant

infestations and alleviating ant bite concerns.

B. Initial Capital Investment

The business will start with an initial capital investment of Php 45,000,

which will be sourced from a combination of bank loans acquired from BDO and

personal savings contributed by the business owners. Php 25,000 will be

obtained from BDO loan services, while the remaining Php 20,000 will come

from the personal savings of the business owners. This financial estimate aims

to cover the necessary expenses required to sustain the business's operations

for a period of 1-2 months.

A. Description of the Company

CleanEarth Pest Solutions, established on April 4, 2023, endeavors to

provide natural and eco-friendly remedies to combat ant infestations. Its focus is

to create and promote organic ant repellents made from natural ingredients to

effectively prevent and reduce the dangers associated with ant infestations and

ant bites. These repellents are carefully formulated to ensure their safety for

both humans and the environment. The business proprietors possess a

profound understanding of the organic and natural products industry and are

deeply committed to sustainability and eco-friendliness. The team aims to

integrate their knowledge, passion, and expertise into their business operations,

thus promoting a sustainable lifestyle and environmental stewardship.

Consequently, the team has embarked on this entrepreneurial venture to

provide the market with an effective and sustainable alternative to chemical-

based ant repellents while pursuing their personal and environmental

objectives.

Mission

CleanEarth Pest Solutions seeks to offer environmentally safe insect

repellent solutions for the community to use, as a solution for ant infestation

while minimizing negative impacts on human health and the environment.

C. Products/Service Offered

Antegano, a dual-functional ant repellent, is an eco-friendly product that

effectively addresses ant infestation and ant bites. The product is made up of

natural ingredients, making it chemical-free, safe, and non-toxic for the

community. The product will be sold at affordable prices and will come in handy

sizes, which is ideal for customers. It is also children and eco-friendly. The

company will source its raw materials from trusted suppliers such as Crystalle V

Purified Drinking Water, NutriAsia, The Healthy Basket, Greenville Shop, and

RayBurn Organics. Antegano can be purchased through its physical store

located in Sampaloc, Manila, and through online services on the company's

official website and Lazada. To facilitate delivery, the company will establish a

partnership with J&T Express.

D. Products/ Services Features

The brand competitors of Antegano are Baygon, Raid, and Theodore’s

Anti Ant Spray. Baygon and Raid are synthetic ant repellents known for their

higher effectiveness in exterminating ants compared to Theodore's Anti Ant

Spray and Antegano. However, their effectiveness comes at the cost of potential

harm to children and pets due to the presence of harsh chemicals. These

chemicals can lead to skin irritation and respiratory discomfort. Moreover,

Baygon and Raid are priced higher compared to the other brands, making them

less cost-effective options.

On the other hand, Theodore's Anti Ant Spray offers a natural approach

to ant repellency. It contains all-natural ingredients which have demonstrated

efficacy in repelling ants. Theodore's Anti Ant Spray is non-toxic and safe for

use around children and pets, although its effectiveness in killing ants may be

comparatively lower when compared to Baygon and Raid.

Antegano, however, provides a natural, safe, and effective alternative to

Baygon, Raid, and Theodore's Anti Ant Spray. Formulated with natural

ingredients, specifically oregano leaves, Antegano has been proven to be

effective in repelling ants. It poses no harm to children and pets, as it is non-

toxic. Additionally, Antegano is the most affordable option among the four

brands making it a suitable choice for budget-conscious consumers seeking an

effective and reasonably priced ant repellent.

A. Industry Description

Antegano CleanEarth Pest Solutions primarily operates and competes in

the manufacturing industry. Under this market, products such as aerosol, traps,

electric and coil insect killers, repellents for homes and gardens, and body

repellents are included. According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, the Value

of Production Index (VaPI) in the manufacturing industry increased by 12.7% in

November 2022, after an upwardly revised 13% in the previous month. This later

diminished to 10.1% in December 2022. In contrast to this however, the

Philippine manufacturing output rose the most in 10 months as the VaPI

increased to 15.4% in January 2023, an increase of 5.9% from 9.5% in

December 2022. Furthermore, the VaPI recorded a slightly slower annual growth

rate of 15.1%. The industry is forecasted to trend around 6% in 2024 and 5% in

2025 according to the Trading Economics’ econometric models. This growth

would mainly be driven by a progressing economy, an increase in consumer

confidence, and expanding product innovation within the industry. The industry

will utilize direct distribution channels for product distribution, including direct

online selling and retail stores.
