Books of the Month:

Students are to read (at least) three times a week for a minimum of 30 minutes and to keep reading journal log (in addition
to Teenbiz or any other online work.) The number of books to be read per month is indicated in brackets next to the month.
This journal is to be kept IN ADDITION to any other work assigned by the teacher.
You will be notified of the student’s Lexile level a.k.a reading level/grade level reading (as measured by Teenbiz level-set
assessment, Edperformance assessment, in addition to, br other assessments the teacher sees as fit or as is available.)

The attached file assignments per month are due on the last Friday of the month. Assignments and rubrics for that month’s
assignment options also attached. No late assignments will be accepted. One critique/review/hand-in is due PER BOOK THAT
MONTH. For example, is we are to read two books in September, than TWO “book review” forms are due that month.

Please make certain that reading selections are appropriate for his/her leve l.
