The Academic Statement of Dr. Mubarak Ali Ahmed Alhammadi can be detailed in
points as follows:

1. Education:
i. Ph.D. in English with A+ Grade in Nov. 2018 from BAMU, India.
ii. M.A. in English with distinction and first rank in May 2015 from SRTMU, India.
iii. B. Ed. in English with academic excellence in June 2011from Albaydha University,
Yemen.
iv. Course of Computer Driving from Decan College, India.
v. MBA in distance from Ascend Institute, India.
vi. Certificate of Proficiency in French, CDAMU, India.

2. Works and Participations:

i. Thirteen research papers including one research study unpublished in
‘Challenges of Literary Translations’.
ii. Nine literary books: two poetry collections, two critical books, one short story
collection, and three novels.
iii. Twenty-three international participations: conferences, workshops, and
seminars.
iv. A key speaker for two international academic functions: First, in 2019 - the
International Conference at Mumbai University, Faculty of Humanities, India on
Developing Critical Thinking amongst Future Students. Second, in 2022 – the
International Program at Salatiga University, Faculty of Teacher Training and
Education, Indonesia on Importance of Learning Foreign Languages: English
and Arabic Are Selected.

3. Teaching Experiences:
i. Queen Arwa University – (2019 to the present) Teaching British and American
Cultures, Modern Literature, AND Literary Translation for the students of
translation. In addition, a research Referee and Supervisor for B.A. Research
Projects.
ii. Civilization University – (2019-present) Teaching Medical Terminologies +
Engineering Terminology.
iii. Alandalus University - (2022-present) Teaching Contemporary British Literature
for M. A. English Students, plus 20th Century American Literature for the 4th
level Students of B. A. English.
iv. Ittihad University – (2019-2021) Taught Grammar Rules and Vocabulary
building.
v. Sana’a University – (2019 to 2021) Taught English for Media Purposes.

vi. 21 UMAS – (2019-2021) Taught English for Medical Purposes, plus served as
Head of Languages and Translation Center.

Literature in English, including traditions, customs, mores, norms, religions,
mythologies, philosophies etc.

including Globalization and Contemporary World Literature.

iv. Literary Psychoanalysis, and Microcosm vs. Macrocosm adopted in literary
pieces.

vi. Ethics and language of aesthetics – messages and lessons for life in literature.
vii. International relationships and multicultural literatures.
viii. Literary Translation and Culture-specific expressions.
ix. Literary Translation and Semantic-syntactic Depth, including Translation and
Speech-act Theory.

xi. Translation and Allusions.
xii. Teaching English through Literature: Strategies, Approaches, Techniques,
Methodologies, and Pedagogies.

5. Activities to Be Undertaken during the Fellowship:

i. To do researches in my academic research interests.
ii. To pursue Post-doctoral program.
iii. To compose certain literary books in English, for example, Poetry Collection,
Screenplays Collection, Fiction etc.
iv. To participate in International Conferences, Workshops, and Seminars of
various sorts in literature, languages, cultures, politics, relations,
multiculturalism, comparative literature etc.
v. To teach/offer lectures and presentations (if possible) at Institutes, Colleges,
Universities, foundations, and other institutions in the range of my
specialization and academic as well as literary interests.
vi. To visit Libraries, different Universities (meeting professors and experts, and
researchers and students), Publishing Houses, Theaters, Public Places, Historic
Places.
