Description:

It uses the OneStop associated applications as the central repository for financial
premium, loss, income, and expense data. OneStop is essentially a part of OneBeacon’s
month-end close processing whereas the associated applications are used by the business
users throughout the month on a need basis. Data is interfaced from OneBeacon policy
writing systems, billing system, & claims system as well as 3rd party sources outside of
the company. This data is processed, summarized and interfaced with downstream
applications for Financial, MIS, State, and Federal reporting. OneBeacon has undertaken this
modernization initiative to migrate the OneStop& associated functionality off
mainframe before December 2016, reduce development & maintenance costs, bring in
agility, and deploy an application driven by business functions.

Responsibilities:

 Identifying BOs, BCs, joins, links, pick lists, MVGs, screens, views, and applets as per specifications.
 Creating various Drill Down facilities and Multi Value Groups to show the relationship between the
fields.
 Used joins and links to display the required fields from different tables in one applet.
 Incorporated validations and enforced business rules within the Siebel business components using
BC User Properties.
 Designed workflow processes to automate the Business Rules.
