Solid Waste Management

In the heart of our cities, where life's pulse beats strong,
Lies a challenge, a duty, that can't be ignored for long.
Solid waste, it gathers, in piles and in heaps,
While we search for solutions, the problem creeps.

But in the midst of this challenge, a lesson we find,

In the need to be mindful, to be gentle and kind.
For the earth is our home, our shared sacred ground,
And in managing waste, a solution must be found.

Recycling and reusing, reducing our waste,

Are the tools that we wield in this delicate haste.
Composting, repurposing, each act a small seed,
In the garden of sustainability, where we all must feed.

So, let's join hands together, in this noble quest,

To manage our waste and give our planet rest.
For in stewardship lies our true human grace,
In caring for our world, in every time and space.
