One particular morning stands out in my memory. I used to have a routine before going to
school, where my mother would wake me up very early so I wouldn't be late, which
consisted of bathing, brushing, changing, and then having breakfast. It used to take me
forever to get ready and I was almost always late for school. During recess I used to play
with my classmates in the school yard where it was pure fun, and I enjoyed my childhood
too much.

According to the text, answer the following questions.
 Why does Lisa believe that education is essential for making a change
towards sustainability? Explain it.

Elisa is aware of the importance of education since it plays a fundamental role


where it contributes to improving the quality of life of people and the power
to protect natural resources where it encourages others to raise awareness
and understand the change to economic sustainability. By attempting to take
these two factors into account, it will be helpful in making positive decisions
for the environment. Elisa also shows some solutions from her perspective,
which is to opt for sustainability practices where small changes can contribute
to a better planet, which is why we start with reusable methods, energy
savings and walks for a greener world where education prevails in order to
achieve preservation for future needs.
 Have you ever been a backpacker? How this traveling style contribute
to take care the environment in your region? Mention 3 contributions.

Yes, I have been a backpacker. This style of travel contributes a lot to


environmental ecology, where it helps improve the planet and minimize its
effects.
The three ways you can contribute are as follows:
1. Environmental awareness: this factor is one of the greatest
contributions because they tend to be more connected with nature, they take
care of the environment in which they are located and plan the environmental
ecological objectives that they want to carry out.
2. reduction of contaminated waste: this consists of every time you see
some types of garbage, they are put in reusable bags, or you also choose to
separate the plastics to take them to a place where they can be reused or
used in such a way that it does not entail polluting effects, in order to
minimize the impact on the environment.
3. Efficient use of resources: by opting for this contribution, natural
resources tend to be less affected, and in a way, vehicles are not constantly
used, which is what causes damage to the planet with their fuel consumption
and also seeks to reduce energy consumption.
 What kind of changes have you adopted at home to have a greener
future? Describe 2 of them.
Some environmental measures that I have been able to adapt in my house
are:
1. Reduce energy consumption: this method consists of changing
appliances that consume a lot of electricity for appliances suitable for
reduction, and changing incandescent bulbs for LED bulbs that consume less
energy.
2. Implementation of containers: by making good use of these recycling
containers, you are helping the planet not to destroy its vegetation, since
they consist of an efficient recycling reduction system in which organic waste,
usable waste and waste are separated. not usable. So that, in this way, a
greener planet is achieved by guiding us with the necessary information that
can be used in our home.

Hello, it's me, Anyela Palacios. When I
was in high school, I remember with
emotion the happiest years I lived at
that time. I used to laugh and talk with
my friends during class hours. We get
reprimands from the teacher because
we don't behave well. When I was at
recess, my friends and I had fun with
all kinds of games, but there were
things I didn't like like the school
uniform.
When we left class we went to a
friend's house named Ximena and I
took the opportunity to wear the
clothes I liked the most, which were
black jeans, a red t-shirt and white
tennis shoes.

With my parents and siblings we went


to mass every Sunday and then to the
park. I was a very happy girl and an
excellent student.
