According to the text, answer the following questions.

Why does Lisa believe that education is essential for making a change towards
sustainability? Explain it.
R/ Lisa believes that education is essential for making a change towards
sustainability because the more knowledge we have about how to live
sustainably, the more likely we are to adopt green habits. The text mentions
that Lisa researched sustainable living to learn more, which demonstrates her
belief in the power of education to generate change.

Have you ever been a backpacker? How this traveling style contribute to take
care the environment in your region? Mention 3 contributions.
R/ Yes I have been a backpacker.
Reduced carbon footprint: Backpackers often rely on bikes or feet to get
around, which significantly reduces your carbon footprint compared to air,
motorcycle or car travel.
Avoid wasting water: In some places, drinking water can be a scarce resource.
Backpackers may be sensitive to this situation and avoid wasting water in
activities such as washing clothes too frequently or leaving the tap running
while washing their hands.
Environmental awareness: Backpacking often involves spending time in nature,
which can foster a deeper appreciation of the environment and encourage
responsible behavior, such as minimizing waste and respecting natural
habitats.

What kind of changes have you adopted at home to have a greener future?

R/ I reduce energy consumption: I turn off lights and electronic devices when
not in use and unplug chargers. This saves energy and reduces your electricity
bill.
I Minimize Waste: I implement a recycling system for paper, plastic and glass.
I opted for reusable bags and containers to reduce the use of single-use
plastics. I compost food scraps as it can also divert waste from landfills.

had a platform we could

issues. We could inspire

protect the planet.

have a role to play in the
fight against climate
change. Small changes
in our daily lifestyle can
add up a lot. Together,
we can make a
difference.
